Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of program management experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of program management experience. The experience must be in a public health, health/human service, health regulatory program or community-based organization. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available. If telecommuting is available, the incumbent will be required to have a telephone/mobile device, and internet access.

Preferred Qualifications
Three years of experience supervising staff; three years of developing, implementing, or monitoring programs; three years of community/provider collaboration, partnership, or coordination of services; three years of professional health, healthcare, or public health experience; two years of managing complex programs/services; one year of planning or developing a campaign.
Responsibilities
The Program Manager is located in the Office of Sexual Health and Epidemiology (OSHE) and will be responsible for program management and implementation of Sexual Health Education, Research, Policy, Programming and Administration (SHERPPA) Unit programs and initiatives. - The SHERPPA Unit within the OSHE provides leadership in Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) and other sexual health epidemiology, evaluation, education, research, policy, programming, and administration. - OSHE is committed to ensuring and promoting a sex positive approach, which includes ensuring policies and programs are in place to support this vision. The Program Manager will oversee the Sexual Health Equity Services section within SHERPPA. -
Responsibilities will also include developing programs, education, and campaigns through a sexual health equity lens; planning, designing, and implementing sexual health equity programs and services; coordinating the day-to-day implementation and coordination of those programs; assisting with resource allocation; representing the OSHE and the AIDS Institute; supervising staff; and other related duties as assigned.
