Job Description

The Marketing Automation Manager will be responsible for bringing strategy, best practices, and operational excellence, and performance around our Marketing Automation platform and the Email channel. This crucial role will own our Pardot instance and work in close partnership with Operations and Campaigns teams to oversee our Lifecycle Marketing, Automation, and Database strategies. A successful candidate will have worked in fast paced and collaborative environments while having the channel expertise to act autonomously and create iterative improvements to processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder in global email marketing strategy working in close partnership with Operations, Campaigns, and Demand Gen teams
  • Manage lifecycle automation processes including lead scoring, nurture streams, database enrichment, reporting, and more
  • Execute program and email builds, ad-hoc reporting, and campaign optimization
  • Contribute to database growth, cleaning, and segmentation strategies
  • Conduct A/B tests to optimize email sends for open & click rates while closely monitoring delivery and inbox deliverability rates
  • Use a data driven approach for improving performance of the email channel beyond email platform KPIs
  • Manage marketing automation processes including lead scoring, nurture streams, database enrichment, reporting, and more
  • Create process for campaign intake in collaboration with Project Management team
    • 3-4 year of B2B Marketing experience ideally within Tech/SaaS
    • 3-4 years of experience using a Marketing Automation platform like Pardot, Marketo, or Hubspot
    • 2 years of experience using Salesforce CRM
    • Knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, as well as commercial emailing regulations such as CAN-SPAM and CASL
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in platforms like Google Analytics or BI tools such as Looker or Tableau
    • Intermediate experience with HTML and CSS
