Job Description:
Involves identifying, building, and nurturing strong, lasting
relationships with new and existing clients in relevant industry
segments. Activities include identifying and influencing potential
customers to generate new business, working closely with a network
of strategic alliance partners to identify joint business
opportunities to increase customer value and drive revenue
growth.The Director of Operations is responsible for providing
operational leadership to UCSF Health, by driving affiliate
integration initiatives, partnering on strategic planning and
operational development. This position reports directly to the COO
of UCSF Health Affiliates Network.The Director is responsible for
developing and implementing enterprise relationship management
strategies that fully leverage UCSF Health Network capabilities and
lead to growth opportunities. The Director will also implement the
strategic and business development efforts at affiliated
hospitals/health systems to generate new business, increase
customer value and drive revenue growth.The Director of Operations
is a hybrid role that serves to align operational implementation
with strategic initiatives. The role implements service area
operational objectives. Develops major goals and implementation
plans to support strategic objectives. Leads the implementation of
initiatives to support key business strategies. Operationalizes
growth and physician alignment strategies. Works with key internal
and external stakeholders including physicians to ensure capability
and capacity of clinical services are available.Department

presently comprised of UCSF Medical Center, UCSF Benioff Children's
Hospitals (Oakland and San Francisco), Langley Porter Psychiatric
Hospital and Clinics, UCSF Faculty Practice, Benioff Children's
Physicians, and other entities. UCSF Health enjoys formal
affiliations and partnerships with a number of Northern California
hospitals and health systems, as well.UCSF Health brings clinical
