general supervision of the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs,
the Program Manager of Graduate Programs in Computer Science is
responsible for the administration of the M.S. in Computer Science
and a new one-year Bridge program that prepares students from other
disciplines for graduate work in Computer Science. The Program
Manager will work with the Faculty Graduate Director and faculty to
maintain, improve and create new program initiatives.The Computer

Description:Recruitment and Admissions:Manage recruitment and
marketing for the CS programs, including answering program
inquiries, development of promotional materials, coordinating with
the Director of Graduate Programs, and organizing and leading
information meetings and traveling to graduate fairs. Supervise and
participate in the application and admissions process, including
assisting in the final admissions decisions
process.Academic/Professional Development Support:Facilitate and
plan the academic advising process in conjunction with the Faculty
Director, and ensure the smooth administration of student
registration.Facilitate student success including organizing
student orientation events, monitoring the academic progress of
students, organizing student-centered events, and managing degree
completion paperwork.Work with the Faculty Director and USF Career
Center to coordinate internship, practicum, and capstone project
programs, and in cultivating relationships with
hosts/sponsors.Curriculum Development and Support:Work with faculty
to ensure that course content meets program learning outcomes, and
work with Faculty Director on assessment tools and assessment
reports for the university and external reviewers.Coordinate the
course scheduling process in conjunction with the Faculty Director
and Department Chairperson.Miscellaneous:Manage alumni tracking and
alumni services for the program in collaboration with the Office of
Alumni Relations. Serve as a member of the University Graduate
Admission Council and attend College of Arts and Sciences Graduate
Program Directors meetings.Manage program budgets, including
scholarship allocations.Other duties as assigned.Minimum
Requirements:Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required, with degree
in computer science or related field preferred but not required. A
minimum of three years work experience with educational program
administration required. Experience working with graduate or
professional programs preferred.Professional experience in the
field of computer science or related fields is strongly
preferred.Demonstrated cultural competency and experience working
with students from a diverse array of backgrounds, including
experience working with graduate programs and students. Experience
with strategic branding, national, and international
marketing.Demonstrated success in overseeing complex administrative
systems and the ability to interact with a variety of different
administrative departments. Ability to understand and maintain
budgets.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills,
including through the use of social media.Excellent computer skills
(word processing, database and web maintenance skills).Experience
maintaining database systems.Ability to travel to recruitment fairs
and to work in the evenings if required to service graduate student
events.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to
spearhead large projects and see them through to
completion.Experience collaborating across
departments/programs.Demonstrated leadership in a higher education
setting.Must demonstrate a strong equity lens, cultural humility,
and proven ability to work well in a diverse context.Understanding
