Manager oversees the daily operations of the branch and is
responsible for the expansion and success of the branch by
implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales
target achievement. In addition, this position is responsible for
sustaining/growing current customer relationships by developing
high trust relationships and providing outstanding service within
the warehouse and inside sales teams.Duties &
Responsibilities:Manages, oversees, and supports all aspects of
branch profit center (operations, sales, admin, etc.)Executes on
Acme's policies and procedures regarding all matters concerning
day-to-day branch operations and counter sales activities;Develops
forecasts, financial objectives and business plans and determines
the nature of profitable versus non-profitable branch business
through precise decision making and trend analysis;Fosters and
develops strong relationships with Company's customers and vendor
partners;Oversees sales counter activities and customer
satisfaction, including assuring daily maintenance of invoice queue
and backorders, maintenance of will call, as well as filling in on
various tasks as needed;Oversees warehouse activities, including
assuring daily efficiencies are met in receiving, order pulling and
product delivery, etc.;Oversees and executes on Acme's safety
policies and procedures;Participates in the interviewing, hiring,
training and termination of employees;Developing and assessing
individual performance through observation and measurement, and
handles corrective actions as needed;Address customer and employee
satisfaction issues promptly;Oversees and reviews employee
timesheets via the Company's time keeping system to ensure missed
punches, overtime and time off requests are addressed and
managed;Develops programs and protocols that promote teamwork,
skills-building and positive morale within the branch, the region
and companywide;Provides prompt and regular communication regarding
all vital branch-specific information to Regional Manager as needed
or requested;Collaborates across Outside Sales Team in developing
opportunities for training, marketing, and sales presentations to
their account base; Present product demonstrations as necessary to
both customers and Acme Teams;Track and timely respond to all
customer sales inquiries and concerns and resolve by any means
necessary to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and
maintain customer relationships;Participate in sales and marketing
events;Provide education to existing and prospective customers
regarding the variety of products and services that Acme
provides;Maintain awareness of company pricing, service
opportunities and sales guidelines;Take all necessary steps to
ensure customer satisfaction and store profitability by proactively
identifying and recommending additional items a customer may
need;Proactively communicate any discovered inventory or pricing
discrepancies directly to Management and Purchasing;Develop and
maintain new and existing product and inventory knowledge by
participating in all necessary training, including independent
study of product features and benefits;Participate in educational
opportunities, including those offered by vendors such as Evergreen
and/or other resources;Acts and works according to Company culture
and as an ambassador to the Company's brand, services and
values;Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional
Manager.QualificationsSkills: Technical
Qualifications/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent;
college degree preferred;Minimum of 5 years of progressive
promotion with Acme, and/or 5 years previous managerial/supervisory
experience;Intermediate to advance experience within the
construction supply/distribution industry;Intermediate to Advance
experience and utilization with Outlook; Solar Eclipse, Monday.com,
Phocas, etc.Good knowledge of math and ability to correctly
calculate margins, discounts and percentages; as well as understand
and analyze complex reports;Traits: Behavior & Competencies:
