Description:
As Operations Manager, you'll collaborate with the executive
leadership team to set direction, lead and develop people, serve
clients, manage operations, and apply lean thinking and systematic
problem solving to continuously improve. You'll directly lead
practice locations and partner with the site leads to
collaboratively manage the clinic. Your leadership will make sure
that our practices are robust, productive, and fun and that our
team is proud, growing, and happy. As an Operations Manager, you
will administer, direct and coordinate all administrative and
operational activities of the podiatry locations. Duties and
Responsibilities
- Supervise the organizational operation and directly supervise
the site lead
- Plan, organize, direct and evaluate operations to ensure the
provision of adequate and appropriate care and services
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and
standards
- Monitor quality and appropriateness of services and products
and assuring their availability
- Establish and maintain effective channels of communication
- Ensure staff development including orientation, in-service
education, continuing education and evaluation of staff
- Direct and monitor organizational Performance Improvement
activities
- Assure the development and qualifications of professional
services and the assignment of personnel
- Complete performance evaluations on subordinate staff in
accordance with the Practice policy
- Participates in the formulation of a business plan strategic
goals, resource allocation plan(s) and budgets
- Inform the governing body, staff and professional advisory
group of current organizational, community, and industry
trends
- Negotiate and enter into contractual agreements on behalf of
the Agency
- Maintain sound fiscal management practices and the overall
credit standing of the Practice Requirements:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the
ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision
- Ability to respond appropriately to emergencies
- Ability to adapt to advancement and changing technology
- Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy and
thoroughness
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working
relationships with all levels of staff
- Basic typing skills to input various data into Information
systems
- Strong interpersonal skills, a connector, with genuine interest
in supporting the success of others Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
- 2+ years of leadership in the medical field
- Experience in leading people, with a track record of selecting
and nurturing strong performers
- Experience in a client-service environment, with proven
abilities to deliver exceptional service standards
- Experience managing day-to-day operations
