Job Description:
LOCATION Presidio, San Francisco. Must live within a 40-minute
commute. Flexibility to work from home intermittently, but
in-person expected primarily. COMPANY Founded in 2009,
Endurance---s primary mission is conceiving new ventures with the
intention to solve meaningful problems in our Venture Lab . Our
most notable companies include Funding Circle (Public: FCH),
Collective Medical (Pre-IPO), Vouch (Series C) and Endurance
Fitness (Sold); as well as recently launched Flow (Series A),
Resolve (CF), and Sora (Seed). Endurance also operates a
rapidly-growing multi-family investment office ( MFO ) for its
Partners and collaborators where it invests directly in startups
and across asset classes, but most heavily in Private Equity, Real
Estate, and Venture Capital. ROLE This is a phenomenal opportunity
to develop your career in finance and operations with a young,
rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have two or more
years of experience working in an operational role in finance or a
similar field. You will play a vital role in assisting our team in
growing our MFO and Venture Lab. The nature of your
responsibilities will be to help manage and improve the internal
finance and operations of Endurance with a particular emphasis on
the MFO. This role has significant long term growth potential; a
successful candidate could begin to lead Endurance---s finance and
operations as quickly as he/she is ready for the responsibility.
Primary initial responsibilities include: Venture and Investment
Operations : Complete subscription documents, fund investments,
execute trades, monitor balance sheets, receivables, insurance,
vendors and service providers. Support entity formation, deal
structuring, and other legal work with our General Counsel/COO.
Lead internal initiatives to improve operations such as identifying
and implementing new software, improving internal processes, and
analyzing internal financial data to identify areas for
improvement. Performance Reporting and Recordkeeping: Monitor and
regularly update internal records regarding performance of our
portfolios. Manage investment funding inflows and outflows, monitor
cash flows and liquidity, and update financial statements as
needed. Spearhead the implementation of new accounting/reporting
systems. Other Administrative Tasks: As part of a small team, you
will regularly be expected to assist with other office and
admin-related requests, including working with vendors, meeting
scheduling, logistics, event planning, and office management.
QUALIFICATIONS 2 years in a FinOps, Accounting, or a similar role
Desire to lead an emerging FinOps department over time Enthusiasm
