-Position DescriptionTITLE: Emergency Preparedness
ManagerResponsibilities:
- Leads and assumes responsibility for the maintenance and
effectiveness of Emergency Preparedness planning for AMERICAS
through standardized planning, exercising and quality
assurance.
- Secures and manages necessary equipment for AMERICAS.
- Highlights risks and areas for improvement post each exercise /
incident and ensures issues are captured, completed and reviewed
for mitigation.
- Manages AMERICAS focused planning, enhanced testing and quality
assurance of the Business & Systems Resilience program.Project
Overview: -From keeping employees safe and secure to managing
disruptive incidents and crises, the ability to anticipate, deter,
detect, and act are the pillars of our Global Security and
Resilience Services team. help -develop a culture where safety,
security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of our
company. This team will -continually identifies, evaluates and
monitors enterprise risks that could affect business activities and
provides business leaders the information they need to make
critical decisions.Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Develop / maintain regional Emergency Preparedness plans /
playbooks
- Ensure regional supplies are identified, secured and
maintained
- Prepare for and participate in Emergency Preparedness
exercisesSkill/Experience/EducationMandatoryMinimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Preparedness, Business
Administration, Risk Management, related field, or equivalent
practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience with emergency preparedness, business
continuity, disaster management or response planning and
implementation efforts.
- 5+ years experience using oral and written communication skills
to communicate with stakeholders clearly, concisely and concretely
and have the ability to manage expectations and interactions,
partner with and advise stakeholders and
management.DesiredPreferred Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, and have the ability to
take on various duties simultaneously and in a short
timeframe.
- Must be able to take initiative when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, team
environment and ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to influence peers and senior team leaders necessary to
accomplish team goals and objectives.
- Strong presence, comfortable interactingThis particular client
