Job DescriptionRole: Product Manager About the Company We provide a software solution for fleet operators to manage their fleet and drivers, manage routes and schedules and over 200+ features to help commuters travel easier including corporate transit, hotel shuttles, school bus transportation and many other areas. Our clients get access to dashboards, advanced reporting, mapping, tracking and other functionality to make their end user's travel as seamless as possible. Our main software platforms include a super admin and sub admin web portals, mobile passenger app and a mobile driver app. We have been in operation for 7+ years with some of the largest corporations, hotels and schools with a growing and robust software solution; we are looking to take it even further with all new improvements and innovations. We are looking for an outstanding senior product manager who will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to drive our businesses forward. What you'll do

  • Collect customer insights, design process solutions, analyze cost/benefit, deliver solutions, and communicate results throughout the organization
  • Collaborate with product teams on the feasibility of products throughout the product cycle
  • Visit customer locations, understand how customers use the product usage, constantly talk to customers to identify areas of improvements, and relay this information to engineering and product teams
  • Strong experience with hardware and software product integrations, including telematics
  • Coordinate between product owners and project managers
  • Create cohesive product strategy and consolidate efforts across various sister entities
  • Partner with product managers on developing features to ensure scope accomplishes customer and business goals
  • Identify key problem areas and/or geographies that will be impacted by the new product launches & scoping out possible solutions to address these issues
  • Analyze all aspects of conversion funnel and own a roadmap to hit goals and KPIs
  • Be creative and scrappy in the tests you choose to run to determine how much the company should invest in various products
  • Work closely with customers, create feedback loops, put in place rapid iteration cycles and work with all teams to develop smart and creative solutions to the problems end users face
  • Identify needs for each stakeholder in our business flow and create win-win solutions
  • Determine the metrics that define success for your products and implement tracking systems/processes for these metrics
  • Anticipate risks and proactively manage these risks before they become bottlenecks
  • Prioritize and make trade-off decisions balancing customer experience and business value
  • Communicate your findings and recommendations to various levels of management, including the CEO, operations lead and other product leads.
  • Lead project planning and execution to deliver successful business outcomes
  • Advocate for the team's efforts and communicate regularly (regarding critical fires, on-going issues, project updates, and other items) to keep necessary partners informed of resolution plans
  • Bridge communication gaps between product/strategic teams to ensure company alignment
  • Advise on end-to-end product rollout plan and project-manage implementation of various projects Qualifications
    • 5+ years of work experience in product, consulting or international projects with a proven track record of delivery in a fast paced environment
    • Good understanding of the increasingly important electric vehicle industry, industry trends, evolving regulations and identify areas of disruption
    • Excellent written and verbal reasoning and communication skills
    • High technical acumen and ability to understand complex features & how they interact with one another
    • Operational background or coordinating in close collaboration with operational teams is a bonus
    • Asking the right questions and keeping the most important task the most important task; focus and prioritize constantly
    • Ability to translate technical concepts and instructions into non-technical terms for internal and external communication and with customers
    • A desire to move fast, break through walls, and act with confident humility
    • Strong attention to detail; analytical and inquisitive nature
    • Design-driven approach
    • Empathy for customers, and passion for helping them
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver against deadlines across different teams
    • This position is remote position, with occasional travel to San Francisco, CA.
