Role & Responsibilities: This revenue leader will be is responsible for managing a team of billings professionals who are responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all activations and billings while driving improvements in business processes and systems. The Senior Manager of Revenue will partner with other business leaders across Sales, Product & Engineering, IT, Customer Success, Deals Desk, Professional Services, and other functions to plan, define, develop, and maintain business processes and provide solutions to ensure optimization and compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting and internal controls & policies.

  • Manage daily operations for a team of revenue professionals covering activations and billings for the U.S. and North America time zones.
  • Work with the Engineering & IT teams to upgrade the current billing system, Chargebee.
  • Oversee interactions between billing team, customer success, sales, finance and customers on billing and activation issues
  • Assess incoming and outgoing communications to ensure professional, compliant and effective customer interaction
  • Manage the accurate preparation of client's invoices to reduce errors and adhere to SOX controls for accurate financials and clean internal and external audits
  • Ensure the team completes billing requirements timely and accurately to meet daily and month-end deadlines
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing issues and requests
  • Manage initiatives to improve the billing processes and systems and create efficiencies
  • Refine procedures and analysis of key controls and reporting requirements
  • Update management regularly on any issues around processes and procedures
    Skills & Experience:
    • Experience in billings, accounts receivable, financial services, and strong knowledge of SaaS industry
    • Strong communication and influencing skills across all organization levels
    • Proven leadership and people management capability with a willingness to lead, propose new ideas, coach team members, and be assertive
    • Strong understanding of accounting practices and applicable legal requirements
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to handle complex billings with the ability to utilize and learn new technology to solve problems
    • Focus on providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other complex accounting or billing systems
    • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion while meeting deadlines
    • Demonstrated ability to take ownership for projects and a strong desire to improve processes
    • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, global organization
