Location: Mill Valley

Job Description:

We're looking for a talented Virtual Events Manager to help expand our Virtual events programmes and explore new ways that we can reach a wider audience. We're an aggressively growing team and we need a Virtual Events Manager who loves a challenge to keep up with our breakneck speed!

Mindmaven is a coaching company that focuses on helping professionals, primarily CEOs and Founders of rapidly-growing companies, succeed by teaching them how to proactively manage important relationships in meaningful ways. We believe that the leaders we work with are good people, desiring to lead well and make a difference in the world, and our goal is to help them do it without sacrificing what matters most in life: relationships. This is our way to help make the world a better place. If you want to help in that mission, keep reading!

We've had some great niche success, which we're incredibly grateful for, but our ambitions are bigger than that. The simple fact of the matter is, our coaching can make a difference in the lives of others, and not enough people are benefiting from it.

That's where you come in. Our Mastermind sessions are already attracting the very best of the startup teams and we're hoping to expand our reach exponentially over the next year.

Your responsibilities will include:
Finding and reaching out to prospective attendees, building relationships with new prospective Mastermind cohosts and maintaining relationships with past cohosts.
Keep track of all event details, following up with cohost relentlessly to get info we need and creating all event materials (i.e. operation docs, run of shows, and Powerpoints)
Coordinating with cohosts to schedule and deliver events and leave cohosts feeling great about their connection with us
Facilitate administrative responsibilities for cohort
Filling the calendar with high quality speeches and finding new groups to get involved
Using our Mastermind Workflow to produce events that are smooth and enjoyable for our speakers
Funnel and data management - tracking conversion of workshop attendees to clients
Assessing all 1:1 consulting leads for lead score and recommending coach assignments

Here's what we're looking for from you:

The Art of Gentle Persuasion
Although this is not a sales role, you will be pitching a product (a free mastermind workshop) and need to be a skilled communicator.
Detail -& -Data-Oriented
You can juggle many tasks and enjoy it
You wouldn't let any cohort slip through the cracks, you keep track of everyone even when they're difficult to get a hold of.
Driven by Relationships
You're a dog with a bone about engaging with prospects in a thoughtful way
You're driven by a genuine desire to help others and make the world a better place, and are looking to align yourself with a company that shares your values.
Entrepreneur-at-Heart
You're a scrappy, self-driven problem solver who does what it takes to get the job done. You believe that no matter what happens, there's a solution to be found.
Growth Mindset
The attitude of "I am who am" makes your stomach turn. You always seek new opportunities to learn and aren't afraid to tackle challenges in pursuit of growth and improvement.
Highly Organized
You'll wear a lot of (very fashionable) hats here at Mindmaven, so please be able to seamlessly manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Technical Expertise
Must have expertise working with Zoom, LinkedIn and email for cold outreach
Bonus: deep experience with a task management system like Asana

Does that sound like you? Then we'd love to hear from you! Follow our application process and we'll be in touch.
