Job Summary

1health is seeking an experienced marketing executive to drive a holistic marketing strategy and execution for our rapidly growing market. The medical diagnostic market is over $50B in the US alone and 1health is currently only a small portion of this market. Our mission is to take a meaningful share of this market and grow 2x on an annual basis. These goals are ambitious, and 1health needs a leader who can develop, execute, and iterate on the growth-oriented marketing campaigns to help us realize our full potential. To be successful in this role, you must get energy from operating amidst ambiguity, setting a vision while also rolling up your sleeves, and being fast at taking advantage of opportunities that the current market disruption is offering to 1health. Job Duties

  • Growth Marketing - The current COVID pandemic has put the medical industry under pressure to innovate and evolve. The rapid phase of disruption is helping the 1health platform to be adopted by many industry leaders in timeframes that have been impossible in the healthcare market. Your primary job is to recognize these disruptive forces and plan effective marketing campaigns to take advantage of them in order to maximize 1health market share and mindshare. You will be asked to quickly synthesize what are the forces that are disrupting the market and how we can play into these opportunities. How do we position 1health, how do we differentiate our product and offering, how do we go to market with our product and service and what product marketing, PR, branding or sales and channel partnership resources will make us win.
  • Brand positions- Bring the companys brand positioning to life clearly and consistently in a way that resonates with and motivates our target audiences. Develop a clear definition of what the brand is and isnt. Position the brand relative to its competitive set. Refines and updates the brand positions based on market traction, customer feedback, and desired differentiation as needed. Translate the brand positioning into reality through advertisements, collateral, web design, and user interface/user experience of our products. Promote the company as an innovator to the press and public and oversee outbound customer-facing communications across our website and social channels. Increase brand awareness, define the company and executive narratives, working with media to raise awareness and understanding.
  • Marketing department- Build and maintain a marketing department by identifying talent needs, hiring and managing a high-performing integrated marketing team.
  • Strategic Leadership- Represent the customers voice within the company, bringing insights to cross-functional stakeholders across product, design, user experience, engineering, and executive leadership. Lead and mentor a growing team of marketers across a broad set of functions, including product marketing, partner marketing, content, and brand. Partner with the digital product, engineering, and data science teams to create differentiated solutions that leverage performance medial and/or innovations in marketing technology. Present and effectively communicate marketing strategy to the executive team and the board of directors.
  • Product marketing- Develop product-specific content and messaging enabling sales and developing the competitive strategy by highlighting our products benefits via presentations, solutions briefs, case studies, white papers, videos, blogs, sales tools, and webcasts.
  • Analytics/research- Define, measure, and report the performance of all paid-marketing channels/campaigns and assess against return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPI) goals. Provide ongoing reporting, develop actionable insights, test and learn approaches to new initiatives. Develop informed points of view on non-financial but critical performance measures, such as brand awareness, target users, competitive positioning, etc., leveraging primary and secondary research sources.
  • Scalable growth- Develop a scalable growth strategy through our direct-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) channels while also evaluating other sales/distribution channels for our products.
  • Budget- Own and effectively scale the marketing budget, allocating spending and optimizing a blend of channels to hit growth targets while thinking long-term and resourcefully effectively.
  • Marketing campaigns/programs- Develop marketing campaigns to increase loyalty, customer retention, and the customers lifetime value. These programs must be delivered to the customer through the proper channels, at the right time, with the best message to gain the desired results. The programs and campaigns should be tested and measured at critical stages to ensure maximum results. Responsible for conceiving and implementing successful marketing campaigns from channel to ad unit, landing page, purchase experience, and lifetime value across all viable channels.

    Job Specifications

    Education and Experience
    • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field or related field or equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in marketing or related field with a focus on product marketing and leading a marketing organization. Technology, e-commerce healthcare, and consumer marketplace experience are preferred.
    • Experience driving complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in data-driven marketing.
    • Experience communicating the benefits of various marketing strategies to business audiences of all levels.
    • Experience working within a Software as a Service (SaaS) company preferred.
    • Experience working within a high growth start-up and/or ambiguous environment, with proven experience to be adaptable preferred.
    • Experience in changing marketing tactics due to quickly changing marketing conditions and government regulations

      • Demonstrated ability to dive into a product and become a champion and promote features, use cases, and to customers
      • A hands-on, can do attitude and a drive for outcome focussed performance
      • Proven ability to analyze reports, dashboards, data, and other tools to make critical decisions and recommendations to help lead the company to achieve its objectives and goals
      • Clear, effective communication skills and experience in a collaborative, transparent, and hands-on environment
      • Good eye for design and creative assets with strong attention to detail
      • Ability to wear multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
      • Low ego and high intellectual curiosity
      • Ability to drive experimentation focused on conversion and engagement.

        Physical Demands

        This job is operated in a professional remote office environment. This job is primarily a sedentary role; however, the employee has the flexibility to move as needed. The employee will constantly operate a computer, phone, keyboard, mouse, and other office productivity equipment. The employee will frequently communicate with both internal and external customers and co-workers. Must be able to exchange accurate information clearly and concisely. Must be able to recognize objects from short and long distances.
