VP, Analyst Relations
A fast-growing global communications firm is seeking a VP, Analyst relations to join our team! We are seeking to fill this role with a seasoned professional in our NYC or San Francisco office. Reimagining what communications can make possible is a given for our team.
This role will be responsible for thinking strategically and managing Analyst Relations programs for a variety of clients. Your duties will include the development and management of budgets, management of accounts, client relationships and personnel, and maintenance of big-picture perspective, contributing to the overall growth of the company. You will also be charged with developing and maintaining an active pipeline of new-business opportunities in this area.
Summary:Our ideal candidate will have already proved to be a superlative team manager, account handler, and new business closer.At this stage, the new-business role expands, including growing existing business and maintaining a robust pipeline of new-business leads. The VP, Analyst Relations will clearly be seen as a leader not just within the agency, but externally as well, in the industry.The most senior-level client contacts (e.g., CEO) should interface directly with the VP and be comfortable with her/his high level of expertise.The VP will oversee revenue related to Analyst Relations programs and will spend time making the team better and/or managing projects that are incremental revenue created by that persons unique ideas shared with the client and pitched successfully for organic growth.Finally, the VP will work as part of the executive team (along with GMs, practice heads and partners) to shape the vision and direction of therm, specifically the technology practice group.S/he will be responsible for contributing to the agency-wide management, training and development of additional industry analyst relations professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • A minimum requirement is to oversee an oce, division, or group with minimum monthly billings of $80,000 in client fees
  • Manages overall quality of analyst relations accountstawork and clientsatisfaction levels
  • Acts as senior counsel for clients in addition to other senior team members
  • Actively participates in leadership and growth of analyst relations practice across the agency
  • Leads industry analyst practice area
  • Identies and secures new business
  • Builds and manages the appropriate collateral for new business presentations
  • Spearheads eorts related to Industry Analyst Relations
  • Brings information, experience and industry intelligence torm
  • Maintains expertise in analyst relations
  • Remains connected to analysts, inuencers, industry players
  • Works alongside professional development team to manage and develop analyst relations professional development programs for the agencyQualifications
    • BA or BS in related eld required
    • Director level years of analyst relations or related experience
    • Big picture perspective
    • Senior strategist sought out by clients to provide counsel
    • Knowledgeable on industry and related areas
    • Experienced, solid multi-tasker
    • Creative problem-solver
    • Strong writer with excellent presentation skills
