Aumni is an investment analytics company based in Salt Lake City, Utah. At Aumni, we are creating an automated platform to extract information directly from venture capital deals and provide the most comprehensive strategic insights related to the economic and legal details in each investment. Our dashboard presents VC firms with an intuitive interface to make important decisions about their portfolio of investments and financial performance.Having closed our Series B recently, we are rapidly expanding to build new features and attract new customers. Were continuing to grow our team and are looking for incredible talent to drive our mission of being the single source of truth for investors.
We are looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated individual to be the first member of our Revenue Operations team. You will work across our Revenue organization with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to generate insights and support key strategic initiatives. You will be integral to helping us scale by delivering visibility across the entire revenue team, improving efficiency across the revenue process, driving revenue predictability, and ultimately achieving revenue growth. Since this will be a high impact role on a rapidly growing team, ideal candidates are proactive, excel at collaborating with other teams, and possess a strong technically focused, strategic mindset. You will have had experience in planning, building, and implementing sales and marketing systems to support growth, and capturing and delivering analytics/insights at a company, team, and individual level.
You will

  • Own regular business reporting and communication cadence and strategy among senior revenue leaders.
  • Help develop revenue process & methodology for the entire revenue team.
  • Assist with resource planning, including structure and role responsibilities across the revenue team.
  • Develop and present recommendations to senior management for strategic decision making.
  • Own systems and analysis of revenue motions (e.g Salesforce, Preqin, ChurnZero, and other dashboard and BI tools).
  • Develop revenue and forecasting models in conjunction with Finance.
  • Lead revenue performance measurement and analytics.
  • Build best in class dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Ensure consistency and create alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
  • Build partnership with GTM Leadership by delivering financial results, identifying issues and emerging trends, and providing a breadth of insight and financial decision support.
  • Proactively understand our GTM needs and build the systems & processes to help streamline day-to-day workflows.
  • Help the team establish strong operational processes for Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Develop frameworks for translating GTM strategy into measurable financial reporting with the goal of improving target setting for revenue and operating investments.
  • Partner with leadership to develop ARR forecasting models leveraging inputs across the organization.
  • Prepare analyses to help leadership understand how investments translate into growth and provide strategic decision support.
  • Promote vision/strategy around processes and systems to help support scale in a high growth environment.
  • Ensure consistency and create alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

      Desired qualifications
      • 3-5 years work experience in a high tech SaaS company supporting the revenue team (marketing sales, customer success) in a Finance or Operations role.
      • Competency with Salesforce automations, including best practices, building flows, process builders, workflow rules, and formula fields. Salesforce Administrator certification or other Salesforce certifications, while not mandatory, a plus.
      • Proven decision making ability. Ability to identify the important business issues and how to address those issues through analysis and recommendations.
      • Creative and ambitious mindset, and interest being an early contributor and team player in an expanding revenue organization.
      • Comfort communicating with decision makers (c-suite, partner-level, etc.)
      • Strong problem solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
      • An analytical / data driven mind and passion for detailed orientated work. Attention to detail and the highest standards for accuracy and precision.
      • High level of intellectual curiosity & initiative.
      • Experience within the venture capital industry is a plus.

          What to expect in the hiring process:We go through the same interview steps for all Revenue Operations Manager candidates to ensure equity in our hiring process.
