As a VP, Client Services, you will be responsible for strategic and day-to-day management of one of our fastest growing clients.You will be a part of a team of experienced digital marketing professionals globally who define strategy, plan media and execute high-performing brand and direct response campaigns across the full range of products. The team is matrixed amongst media, search & analytics. Although Company is a digital-first agency, the role will involve working on multi-channel campaigns with partner agencies, and marketing strategy will include online and offline elements.In this role you will engage with various senior client stakeholders - from VP Global Guest Marketing, Global Channel Marketing, to Global CMO (based in SF). We're looking for intelligent people who can passionately represent Company, develop a talented team, ensure outstanding delivery to the client, and create opportunities for our relationship to blossom.   • Take direct responsibility for Company's strategic relationship with the client and the associated lifetime client value. You will have direct responsibility for client scoping and margin.
  • Actively support the client's commercial objectives through their strategic marketing planning - you will be expected to contribute across all channels. Ensure that the Company offering is appropriately positioned to best support the client's objectives.
  • Put yourself in the client's mindset: develop their business like it's your own. Use everything in your background and within Company to advise, action and deliver amazing results.
  • Build and develop a deep understanding of the client's sector, the strategic issues, new initiatives and the client's competitive position; share this understanding with colleagues as appropriate and act as the source of marketing knowledge for the sector.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the client, as requested, to solve broad strategic marketing problems.Drive Business Growth
    • Identify opportunities for deepening the client relationship through innovation, the adoption of new marketing technologies and the use of a broader range of agency services. In particular, you'll need a very solid understanding of digital media and technology and how they can be used to guarantee marketing effectiveness.
    • Use your understanding of the broader agency landscape to contribute in all agency meetings.People Leadership
      • Mentor the internal team in their understanding of, and approach to, supporting the client's strategic marketing plan, and manage the day-to-day output of the team.
      • Continually assess team capabilities and look to resolve any gaps through the personal development of existing resources or by leading recruitment efforts.
      • Ensure that the Strategy, Planning, Performance and Account Director(s) understand the client's strategic goals and support them in staffing and structuring the team appropriately.
      • Ensure that wider agency resources such as Analytics, Search & Biddable, Programmatic, Ad Ops, Creative, and Data Analysts are aligned to client objectives as individual projects may require.
      • Support the team in the delivery of ongoing services where requested.A bit about yourself:
        • You are commercially savvy and have experience managing a large scale, multidisciplinary account teams, preferably in travel, hospitality, or tourism.
        • You're likely to have a proven track record as a Senior Account Director, Strategy Director, or Planning Director
        • You're armed with an active interest in how innovation and technology is driving change in digital marketing and a real desire to be a part of that innovation
        • Written communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
        • The ability to make decisions and resolve problems quickly and effectively
        • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage smooth flow of work through
        • Time management and the ability to determine priorities and delegate
        • A thirst for new learning and a drive to develop new approaches which further
        • Analytical and comfortable presenting quantitative information in a client
        • Tact, diplomacy, maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels
