Job Description:

As a Training Manager you will be responsible for driving global consistency of training for Google. Utilizing your expertise in learning and development to determine the right course of execution for programs that you manage. What is in it for you? * Represent one of the most well-known brands in the world * Join a dynamic team dedicated to breaking barriers * A competitive salary and full benefits package What will you do? * Be the liaison between the partner(s) and the central team * Own the training strategy for the region in collaboration with global teams and * local retail operations leads * Leading ongoing general training needs of retail and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) partners: Training curriculum, content development, new product introduction/pulse trainings, partner field team trainings, events, table days, paid campaigns, and content partnerships. * Help determine where and what training(s) to scale * Work to provide partner considerations, limitations, and needs for newly developed programs. * Engage partner field teams/retail sales associates to reveal needs and opportunities of existing programs through store visits and market outreach * Serve as a subject matter expert for Chromebook and Chrome OS * Partner with other market training managers and share best practices. * Facilitate engaging trainings for our partners, this will include the OEM and retail teams * Work with the central creative agency on reviewing content and providing market specific feedback to help shape our centralized programs * Weekly partner status updates summarizing partner successes, initiatives in progress and short term/long term opportunities to engage with the partner(s) How will you succeed? * Following through with action plans in collaboration with management and client * Exemplifying a customer centric mentality * Forging synergies by maintaining smooth, effective work relationships at all levels * Promoting a winning, team-based culture of inclusion * Being willing to work remote and travel up to 40% What experience should you have? * Undergraduate bachelor---s degree preferred * Minimum four years management experience in retail, and/or training * Experience launching eLearning courses across multiple LMS platforms * Expert in presentation and facilitation skills to all audience sizes * History overseeing and managing global training programs * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proven track record in multi-tasking, demand management, problem solving, organization, and prioritization skills * Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite proficiency
