Summary The Director of Content Strategy is a key role responsible for overseeing all aspects of content across long-form technical articles, recruitment marketing, social media, seller co-marketing, partnerships, ads, and executive thought-leadership. You will be highly cross-functional and strategic and will require both creative and analytical thinking. The Director of Content Strategy will be responsible for owning Fast's content strategy, both in terms of original content ideation as well as working with key stakeholders to bring their content requests to life. Working closely with the creative team, the Director of Content Strategy will play a critical role how we use content to tell the Fast story. You and your team will be expected to create a framework for ideating new content based on the evolving company needs. The ideal candidate is well-versed in social media, video, and SEO/SEM best practices and content technologies, analytical and data-driven in their decision-making, and a skilled and versatile leader with the ability to balance strategic planning with a hands-on, team-based approach. Role * Develop the company's content strategy to tell a cohesive Fast story * Own execution of its associated plan, including scope, target outcomes, key metrics and measures, and required inputs and resources to deliver * Manage content team, programs, and budget * Create a content strategy that anticipates the needs of different departments * Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company on content request to determine goals and KPIs * Build, manage, and scale a high-performing content marketing team that is able to delivery information in a clear, yet interesting way * Coordinate and execute multi-channel strategies with cross-functional teams * Establish tracking and measurement to optimize programs based on real-time results, while reporting on the value delivered by our demand generation efforts * Continuously evaluate the performance and ROI of campaigns, adjusting demand tactics and strategy accordingly * Partner with the Growth, Product, and events marketing teams on content strategy, planning and executing multi-channel programs: emails, webinars, events, digital, direct mail etc * Create a thought leadership strategy for top Fast executives * Own analytics across our marketing campaigns and platforms to closely monitor impressions, KPIs, and continuously optimize for maximum ROI-Build strong working relationships with key internal groups Requirements * 7+ years of content experience working in a fast-growing, start-up environment or creative agency * Expertise in understanding storytelling, video optimized for social media, and executing across multiple departments to create a cohesive narrative * You have the ability to take vague content ideas/requests, and turn them into coherent content executions * Experience working with creative teams, and understanding what's feasible/infeasible when bringing ideas to life * Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to clearly communicate big picture ideas * You're a strategist and/or content producer at heart * You understand culture and use the modern zeitgeist to inform your content decisions * You love to take ideas and bring them to life Plus * Experience working in a global payment processing or dual-sided marketplace environment Benefits and Perks- Because People Matter Comprehensive insurance (paid 99% by the company) with no deductible, and 10 dollar copays Globally remote with flexible work schedules to fit your needs Generous parental/family leave for all caregivers- available at any time within 12 months after the new family member joins you 401k with match up to 4% Equity grant People-focused PTO that you determine- time off is there when you want it, when you need it Frequent inclusive events scheduled to allow everyone to express their voice (or dance skills) Monthly exercise and internet stipends---and snacks
