Who we are looking for
A proactive Director of Enterprise Sales who is flexible and can wear many hats in a fast-paced, purpose-driven start-up. The ideal candidate is passionate about air quality, an excellent enterprise sales guru who can manage our growing team of sales executives and SDRs, oversee and execute customer acquisition strategy/demand generation, directly sell to customers and "lead from the front", and build a strong foundation for Series B growth and beyond. The candidate should be able to strategically plan campaigns and execute them flawlessly with attention to detail. Also, the candidate should proactively and creatively find new ways and strategies to increase awareness, thought-leadership, and increase sales velocity.
In addition to being an excellent enterprise sales leader, the candidate should work well with others and in team settings. Other roles the candidate will have to play include helping with enterprise marketing, branding, demand generation, and more. The candidate will work with different functional teams to promote hardware, software, and data platforms. He / She will also have the opportunity for significant leadership and responsibility on the team.

Responsibilities

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing quarterly and annual sales quotas. Own and meet / over-achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets
  • Lead from the front by also directly taking on sales duties and meeting / exceeding individual quota
  • Recruit, train and develop a world class enterprise sales team
  • Grow and mentor the team of SDRs and senior sales reps / account executives
  • Create strong relationships with key customers
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets, expand our customer base, and build customer loyalty
  • Inform the direction of product development, sales processes, and company culture
  • Define the goals and strategy to drive recurring revenue (ARR)
  • Manage the KPIs of the sales team via the CRM and provide transparency to the executive team and board of directors
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals
  • Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices
    Minimum qualifications
    • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise sales and both leading teams as well as directly selling
    • Experience in scaling a startup and proven track record of growing recurring revenue
    • Stellar skills in writing and other communication
    • Extensive knowledge of sales ops and ability to set up infrastructure needed quickly
    • Analytical approach to decision making
    • Rapidly research and learn new skills
    • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
    • Comfortable with rapid cycles and tight schedules
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Proven ability to position products against competitors
    • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
      Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience and strong network in PropTech and real estate
      • At least 3 years of professional experience in enterprise SaaS and / or IOT + SaaS sales
      • Experience at both larger companies with processes set up as well as fast-growing startups
      • Experience in leading sales efforts in a global setting
      • Leadership abilities including scaling a team and managing both internal and outside resources
      • Bonus skill sets - HubSpot, SalesForce
