Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to join our People Operations team! In this role, you'll be responsible for designing (or re-designing) our core HR programs, with a particular focus on Virtual (Remote) First optimization. You will proactively develop strategies and solutions that support departmental goals, as well as companywide strategic initiatives. You will report directly into our Sr. Manager, HRBP.-- Here's what you'll do as part of the team:--

  • Drive Virtual First strategy, assessing existing social connection opportunities and creating a cohesive, "uniquely Apartment List" virtual connection program. Partner with People Operations leadership and internal stakeholders in execution of the program and measuring success.
  • Lead onboarding program re-design, including step by step manager process for successful pre-hire through first 90 days of employment (tailored to each functional org)--
  • Develop all-company and org-specific framework for in-person engagement opportunities. Work with leaders throughout the organization to determine cadence and desired outline
  • Enhance and redefine current Employee Recognition program, with key emphasis on scalability and Virtual First optimization
  • Career Development ideation, including ownership of performance management system, template creation, maximizing usage and engagement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and build out strategic initiatives, as it relates to learning and development, employee recognition, talent management, operations, etc. Here are the skills you need to be successful:
    • 2-3 years of program management experience in a Human Resources or Recruiting environment
    • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle, while gaining buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders
    • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
    • Comfort with ambiguity and building from scratch
    • Experience in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
    • Detail oriented and process driven
