MuleSoft's Field Enablement team is transforming how we sell, enabling much larger average selling prices and higher win rates by delivering insight and ultimately transformational outcomes to customers. Our primary objective is to improve sales productivity, which is arguably the most important metric in our business. We don't just roll out a model that is already proven---we are defining the model. In the process we're helping a large number of individuals accelerate their careers. MuleSoft is growing at a rapid pace. With this exciting growth, our onboarding program is quickly increasing in scale and complexity. Our team onboards hundreds of new hires each year and runs programs that cut across each of the field functions, including Sales, Solutions Consulting, Account Development, Customer Success, Partners, and Services. Thus, we are looking for an ambitious, strategic and highly innovative individual to lead the strategy and design of these programs. In this role, you will work directly with several teams, across multiple levels, to help reduce Sales ramp time and increase productivity. This position will be located in San Francisco, Atlanta or Chicago. In this role, you can expect to:

  • Take a design-thinking mindset to lead the strategy, execution and continuous improvement of the existing field onboarding program - including Leadership onboarding
  • Work with key leaders in the business to understand their perspectives, needs, and challenges and identify opportunities for growth within the Onboarding program
  • Take a blended learning approach to include classroom, webinar, self-study, event-based training, and new technologies (e.g., simulation, podcasts) to help scale global programs in each region
  • Build global content that is centralized by the onboarding team and available for others to leverage and reuse. This includes updating content on a regular basis throughout the program.
  • Track and measure the results of onboarding programs and content, and regularly report results to key business stakeholders
  • Deliver onboarding enablement (e.g., facilitating virtual, live, weekly sessions, etc)
  • Be a subject matter expert in our sales/delivery process and methodology
  • Manage a global onboarding team and coordinate with Global Field Operations and Enablement to drive continuous program improvements Requirements:
    • 6+ years in enablement, sales or sales management, sales productivity. Account Executive experience a strong plus
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Instructional Design experience is a plus
    • Strong executive presence, communication and influence skills
    • Strong collaboration and problem solving skills
    • Strong coaching skills to develop and build a global team--
    • Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
    • Proven track record of producing and hosting educational events, driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs.
    • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly, to new demands; a high sense of urgency
    • Demonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
    • Experience working with Learning Management Systems and other related systems and processes
