Manager/Team Lead, Household Goods Accounting The Manager, Household Goods Accounting is responsible for managing the process for all Altair Move Management Accounting and providing leadership to and for Senior Accounting Coordinator, Accounting Coordinator, and HHG Invoicing Coordinator. PRIMARY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary point of review and process resolution for all direct reports relating to productivity for HHG accounting from internal and external sources including but not limited to:
• Provide day to day direction and oversight of all HHG accounting/invoicing coordinators as assigned;
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of HHG supplier invoices as per client specific requirements;
• Ensuring timely and accurate generation of AMM invoice transactions as per client specific requirements
• Management duties to include staff development and training, performance management, and other routine tasks including but not limited to time off approvals, workload balancing, etc.
• Continuous monitoring of established processes to ensure efficiency gains and integration with larger Altair initiatives;
• Monthly reporting and audit of transactions including but not limited to: Outstanding invoices and unbilled;
• Coordinating with HHG Supplier Partnerships to assist in the management of supply chain in the area of timely and accurate invoicing;
• Coordinating with third-party audit firms to ensure effective processes are in place to ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients;
• Escalation contact for Operations, GFS, and Supply Chain EDUCATION:-- Bachelor's Degree or--Equivalent combination of experience, skills, training and education TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
  • At minimum, 5 years of experience within relocation industry, consulting firm or multinational company in accounting positions of increasing responsibility including minimum 3 years supervising expense processing and audit teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international house hold goods, vendor expense processing, client cost processes and practices ESSENTIAL INTELLECTUAL FUNCTIONS: The Manager, must have the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously, some may complex in nature, build client trust through relationship management, manage to deadlines and budgets, rely on extensive experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
