We appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this time. x VP, Business Development Officer, Stock Plan Services The VP, Business Development Executive will play a meaningful role in establishing and encouraging Fidelity's ecosystem of equity compensation solutions to both private and public corporations! With the goal of educating influencers on Fidelity's solutions while growing sales, retention, win/loss and bid activity. The ideal candidate will have relationships with the ecosystem of private and pre-IPO companies and known to build new relationships with this ecosystem. ROLE IS FLEXIBLE ON LOCATION The Team Lead influencer to the Fidelity brand and introduce capabilities of Fidelity SPS to legal firms, venture capital firms, IPO consultants and other centers of influence. We focus on driving growth across all SPS markets. In addition to playing an integral role in the SPS business, we also partner closely with other businesses across the Fidelity enterprise. The Expertise We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of client-facing, sales, account management and / or business development experience within the public and private equity compensation administration industries
  • Relationships with law firms and venture capital firms strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in consultative selling of equity compensation administration solutions is desirable
  • NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organization, prioritization skills, strategic development and planning skills The Skills You Bring

      • Identify, build and develop key relationships with law firms, venture capital firms, IPO consultants and other centers of influence to private and pre-IPO companies
      • Carefully articulate Fidelity Investments' competitive advantages
      • Understand law firm propensities, and communicate internally with the sales executives, relationship managers, marketing, product development and senior management
      • Set an appropriate strategy on a firm-by-firm basis for optimizing the amount of time that supports each relationship. On active searches, work closely with client team to develop strategy and implement with the center of influence involved
      • Solicit and circulate feedback and competitive intelligence to assist with understanding market perceptions about Fidelity's capabilities, offerings and competitive positioning
      • Strategizing and delivering compelling demonstrations of Fidelity's leading capabilities
