About the Role This will be a remote role based out of Washington, DC, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, or San Francisco, CA. As a responsible mobility operator helping people get around in tens of cities and with thousands of vehicles, Spin recognizes the importance of smart operations strategies. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Strategy & Growth to lead and drive initiatives forward in the following areas

  • Better understand and serve the needs of our riders,
  • Build and test innovative ways to expand our rider base,
  • Continually project and plan for the next 3-6 months,
  • Proactively identify, leveraging data, important questions / opportunities that are relevant to all markets. This role will require expert project management and stakeholder management skills. You will work closely with team members from Marketing, Product, Operations, and Support, and be required to build cross-functional alignment on complex questions. This role will also require excellent communication skills, to provide transparency on fast paced, cross-functional initiatives to multiple teams, as well as succinctly communicating your most strategic work to VPs and Executives. Responsibilities
    • Create and lead growth initiatives across multiple markets, in partnership with Marketing and Ops Leaders.
    • Build and champion business cases for Product features that are needed for a step-change in the user experience and user adoption, in partnership with Product.
    • Be a key owner in the company to stay up to speed on the latest trends in the micro-mobility industry and recommend areas to invest in.
    • Develop and experiment with new pricing strategies in partnership with Operations, Product, and Marketing.
    • Build and coordinate the company's approach to key seasons of the year, such as back-to-school, the winter months, and busy holidays Qualifications
      • 8+ years of experience leading operations, growth, or marketing initiatives with a Bachelor's degree OR 6+ years experience with a Master's degree
      • Analytical approach: you can mold and understand data to drive insights and actions
      • Excellent communication: present data-derived insights in a clear and concise manner and work cross-functionally across departments
      • Experience working in or with Operations and/or Marketing teams
      • Highly proficient with SQL, MS Excel, and Google Sheets
      • Experience in pricing or revenue strategy preferred
      • Experience with customer acquisition strategy preferred
