Founded in 2013, HouseCanary has built its reputation on developing unique analytics for the $30.7 trillion residential real estate market, based on big data and refined through machine learning. By combining this technology with its nationwide brokerage, HouseCanary is uniquely positioned to connect investors and consumers alike to the information that they care most about in an effort to modernize and streamline the home buying and home ownership process. We're seeking a creative, versatile, and hands-on Marketing leader to join our growing HouseCanary Go-To-Market team. The ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator and influencer who can develop the HouseCanary Solutions Business Line's marketing strategy and lead a team of cross-functional resources to deliver against demand generation, content Marketing, and brand-building campaigns. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is not afraid to immediately contribute as part of our growing team and help us better organize and grow over the next 12-18 months. What you'll do:

  • Develop, execute, and manage marketing strategies that successfully drive top of funnel leads (MQLs)
  • Refine HouseCanary's target persona definitions and segmentation approach
  • Design marketing campaigns that generate leads, strengthen the HouseCanary brand across different channels, and cement market leader position
  • Execute campaigns from start to finish, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Operations, Leadership) and external resources and agencies
  • Define and execute on content marketing programs in partnership with our agencies, as well as with internal and external designers and copywriters
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead generation, creation of Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQO), and fostering customer retention
  • Define product marketing plans, including positioning and go-to-market strategies
  • Oversee sales enablement, ensuring the alignment of messaging and content across materials, channels, and the entire sales funnel
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to gain customer and competitor insights and improve marketing strategy and communications
  • Write and proofread creative copy for our marketing website, landing pages, marketing emails, sales collateral, and other sales and marketing materials
  • Define our conference, webinar, and event strategy and manage the team's participation in each
  • Oversee and manage the HouseCanary Business Line's marketing budget
  • Oversee blog content and social media strategy, including content creation, posting, and customer engagement
  • Define and plan co-marketing programs that help scale opportunities with current and potential HouseCanary partners What you have:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field, MBA preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS and B2B marketing role, ideally with marketing software products in the fintech industry
    • Captivating storytelling abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent and creative content writing skills (writing great email copy and landing page content is second nature)
    • Good design sense; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (or similar) a plus
    • A willingness to be hands-on across the entire campaign execution process, including writing, editing, and approval of copy
    • A portfolio that showcases your content writing style and expertise
    • Proven dynamic leadership and project management skills
    • A resourceful 'owner' mentality achieving great results however possible
    • Strong analytical skills powering a strategic mindset
    • A love for, and understanding of, your customers
    • Experience building great teams
    • A passion for working in and managing a fast-paced, collaborative environment
