Location San Francisco, California, United States of America R14218 At Zendesk, we have a unique opportunity to transform how companies use technology to engage their customers, and taking care of our customers and revenue streams is a critical part of this. Zendesk is in need of a business-savvy and driven VP of Product Marketing to build and lead a team responsible for product marketing for our Enterprise and Commercial business segments. This role will be a key leader in the effort to drive growth in both new and existing customers and will report to our SVP of Product Marketing. 2021 is going to be a pivotal year for us as Zendesk drives past $1 Billion in revenue and we are looking for the right key talent to help us drive to the next $1B! What you will do:

• Drive the strategic GTM direction for segment growth, including developing core use cases, buyer messaging, sales plays and industry approach.
• Working closely with core product marketing, define product positioning, messaging and target buying personas and buying influencers.
• Create thought leadership and AR plans to drive increased awareness and enhance Zendesk's positioning in our target markets.
• Drive evolution of partner, pro services and customer success GTM strategy, with focus on driving pipeline, solution value and and customer value realization.
• Deliver content in support of product launches and campaign plans, including web pages, webinar content, sales enablement, promotional messaging and event keynote content.
• Evolve segment practice where each segment is mapped to its core customer journeys and new strategies put in place to improve customer outcomes, and segment level revenue. What you bring:
  • 15+ years of work experience with a heavy emphasis on product marketing, leading global go to market strategy, and 7+ years of management experience. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the B2B and/or SaaS space.
  • Experience running an Enterprise product marketing team, including a deep understanding of the enterprise buying cycle, sales methodologies, and pipeline generation strategies.
  • Process-driven, ability to speak to C + E level audience with confidence.
  • Customer-focused and ability to build alignment cross-functionally.
  • Articulate and very skilled at telling a written or visual story in a simple straightforward way.
  • Can quickly synthesize disparate data into a 'position' and craft programs and messaging that connects with both internal partners and customers.
  • Can collaborate extremely well at all levels driving results with teams that don't report to you and finding creative ways to roll out new programs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate strategies with executive staff, press, analysts and field organizations. #LI-AF1
