NJOY holds a contract with the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA) to supply a standard research electronic cigarette for use in independent, government-funded clinical studies - a project with enormous potential in the United States and across the world.Overview:NJOY is expanding national distribution of its products and is seeking a Sales Manager with prior experience in business- to-business consumer-packaged-goods sales. This individual will provide support to NJOY's Sales Team by working to develop its sales pipeline and expand NJOY's distribution into retail chains. The Sales Manager will be responsible for contacting leads, fostering relationships, leveraging data, negotiating contract terms, and implementing product-launch strategies.Primary Responsibilities:* Performing sales outreach.* Developing relationships with retailers by communicating NJOY's story and value proposition, leveraging data and conducting presentations.* Negotiating contract terms and launch plans.* Bringing new partners through NJOY's onboarding process, including evaluation of compliance and legal requirements, and coordinating with internal Legal and Compliance teams; and* Coordinating with the Account Management team to launch NJOY products successfully and effectively at new retail locations.Preferred Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of experience in a consumer product sales team.* 2+ years of work experience at a large tobacco or e-cig manufacturer is preferred.* Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.* Strong negotiation skills and experience selling revenue-generating opportunities.* Immense attention to detail, persistence, and focus.* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle a large pipeline of leads.* Ability to understand data and use it effectively to negotiate with potential partners.* Ability to work independently while being a part of a performance-driven team.* Experience working in a fast-paced and nimble team with aggressive targets.* Proficient with PowerPoint.EEOC Statement:NJOY is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates.
