As such, DE&I is a critical component to our overall People Strategy.The Director, DE&I will report to the Vice President, Talent, Diversity and Culture and will be charged with developing and executing the enterprise-wide DE&I strategy, vision and roadmap to drive and evolve the company culture. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to join the RF Talent team as part of our global ---center of excellence--- to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive RF. Your primary focus will be to partner with the broader HR team and key business stakeholders to deliver on our DE&I objectives and to implement regional DE&I initiatives aligned with RF---s business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion, a deep understanding of industry D&I best practices, excellent client partnership capability, executive communication skills, and demonstrated ability to drive strategy in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Our ideal candidate is strategic and inventive, as well as outstanding at tactical implementation and operational excellence. This highly strategic and facilitative position requires a combination of flexibility and focus to play an active role leading from the front as well as behind-the-scenes and will support the RF team by enhancing and building highly effective and collaborative cross-functional relationships with key partners, motivating teams and individuals to achieve goals, all while driving accountability. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-wide DE&I strategy, program, operations and daily routine of the evolving DE&I function, which supports the assessment, measuring, monitoring and reporting of diversity, equity and inclusion programs and engagements across all business activities at the company.Quickly gain fundamental understanding of RF---s business model and company strategy and how to link these initiatives internally in an authentic and credible way.Work collaboratively with management as well as process owners and key stakeholders to implement standards and procedures to ensure, to the maximum extent possible, the fair inclusion and utilization of diverse persons and diverse-owned businesses in all activities of the company.Act as a trusted subject matter expert. Influence and inspire leaders and team members at all levels of the organization, encourage prioritization of leadership awareness, team development, commitment and accountability for our DE&I program. Provide coaching, education and consultation to HR and business leaders to develop goals and practices that positively impact D&I outcomes.Integrate DE&I framework into all people processes --- recruitment, retention, recognition, development, performance management, promotions, succession planning, total rewards and mentoring programs ---and measure effectiveness.Engage with people leaders across all geographies and build their capability to role model and prioritize DE&I for their teams, while continuing to build awareness and capability to ensure DE&I is owned by all managers at RF.Establish the DE&I quarterly calendar, plans, budgets, and performance targets, integrating with existing enterprise-wide calendars.In partnership with the Recruiting team: 1) Contribute to the development of a compelling employer brand and recruiting strategies to attract and retain diverse talent, and 2) create talent pipeline programs focused on attracting talent with a diverse set of perspectives and experiences.Identify data collection processes that ensure reliable, verifiable data is collected, and integrate data with ESG reporting on external sustainability frameworks and surveys.Develop a DE&I dashboard by analyzing goals and metrics for measuring and reporting on the progress and effectiveness of the DE&I strategy. Produce measurable results directly tied to our business and people goals.Partner with our Corporate Communications team and Consultant-facing Diversity team to influence and drive the diversity narrative and communications, internally and externally.Use a data-driven approach to inform internal audiences, measure success of existing programs and initiatives and identify additional opportunities for continued improvement.Build an operating model and framework to support the future development of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) globally. Once established, leverage ERG---s to promote inclusion within business and talent processes.Provide data-driven research and industry benchmarking that will help RF deliver ---best practice--- DE&I strategies customized to all geographies. Facilitate horizontal and vertical sharing of best practices.Evaluate and maintain relationships with external organizations (e.g., industry, non-profit, and university groups) that align with our DE&I objectives.Promote rich dialogues with a diverse set of contributors from across the organization.Design and launch test learn plans as a way to incubate new concepts and identify next generation opportunities.Partner with our HR Learning & Development team to deliver impactful in-person, virtual and facilitated DE&I content and training for our employees, including customizing global training where appropriate for the international regions.Qualifications:Bachelor---s Degree in an HR or DE&I related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.8 years of business experience in designing, building and leading measurable and scalable DE&I-focused programs and initiatives at a high-growth, complex, global organization.Demonstrated experience articulating a strategic vision for DE&I programs, translating that vision into an executable strategy and diving cross-functional teams to deliver results.Experience in building & supporting ERG---s.Strong program management skills, attention to detail and a highly organized, process-oriented approach are required to manage the variety of responsibilities and deliverables.Ability to partner with, and coach leaders to enable a consistent, authentic, fair, and equitable approach to business and internal priorities.A solid understanding of industry benchmarks, leading practices, and innovations in D&I.Experience gathering and reporting DE&I data to multiple stakeholders, and analyze that data in order to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions and measure impact on programs.Experience leading cross-functional and dotted-line teams, forums, and individuals.A high degree of emotional intelligence and a strong ability to build trust and influence without authority.Successful track record of working well under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.Can work successfully in a fast paced, rapidly transforming and results-oriented environment.Strong team player with an ability to balance personal needs with those of his / her team and the company overall.Experienced leading a team of indirect reports to achieve shared goals and meaningful outcomes.Experience in training & facilitation; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.The CompanyRodan Fields was founded in 2000 by Stanford-trained dermatologists Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields with a passion for giving people the best skin of their lives --- and the confidence that comes with it.
