Location: US, California, San FranciscoRole Overview:We are looking to have a Regional Director of OEM Business Development to join the McAfee team! This is a senior role on the WW Partner Team where you will be a promoter of the McAfee offerings within designated global OEM's. You will oversee and develop relationships while identifying new business opportunities in consumer, small and medium business, and other essential areas identified for expansion. Join us as an accomplished sales leader with both an "end-user" focus and market growth mindset. You will be part of a thriving, fast-moving, ambiguous, high-growth environment. You will report to our Global VP of OEM Sales.

  • Will establish credibility selling to the C level of Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Will develop relationships across all areas of the partner organization calling at multiple levels within the account: Business Management, Marketing, Product Development, Product Management, Security Team, Engineering, Finance, and Procurement along with any essential influencers.
  • Collaborate across BU's to create an accomplishment-motivated, team environment delivering growth.
  • Manage both the planning and forecast of the business. Work directly with the marketing team, finance to develop an understanding on the business metrics and performance. Report findings weekly. Communicate the areas and reasons where the forecast is deviating from expectations, both positive and negative. Establish strategies to improve essential metrics
  • Work across the consumer, enterprise, and other sales channels to help uncover new opportunities.
  • Maintain sound knowledge of the industry, trends and the competitive posture of McAfee and other industry leaders regarding software product offerings
  • Provide high impact presentations, effectively representing McAfee's business and value
  • Negotiate and close large and complex software contracts; integrate requirements by effectively balancing partner needs with our goals
  • Part of a team working in a matrixed, complex, and evolving sales environments within an extremely competitive market
  • Travel RequiredAbout you:
    • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience. Security SW background is ideal.
    • You will have a consultative sales background within the high technology industry
    • Experience and credibility selling to the C level of Fortune 1000 companies
    • You think like an "end-user" to change the paradigm and make our products "delight" our "end-user".
    • Innovative approach to the business who can create new opportunities
    • Have both the classic "hunter" and "farmer" skills required to navigate within a technology sales environment
    • Experienced on both the tactical and strategic sales levels
    • Experience closing seven figure transactions
    • Proven background of building strong and continuous partner relationships
