Energy Platform Team Shells Energy Platform team is leading Shells efforts to design, develop, deliver and maintain a global energy management platform that unlocks value across Shells Power business. The Energy Platform team aims to enable Shells efforts to harness the potential in its vast fleet of customers, energy assets, and power trading capabilities to deliver value across the energy industry value chain. Responsibilities The Energy Data Analytics Manager will be a critical member of the growing Energy Platform Commercialization team, which is tasked with launching the Shell Energy Platform with our customers, as well as engaging with strategic partners and setting the trajectory for ongoing Energy Platform development. The Energy Data Analytics Manager will lead the development of the Energy Platforms techno-economic analytical capabilities focused on optimized flexible energy resources in primarily behind-the-meter use cases. They will be charged with: * Conduct bespoke energy analytics * Conduct deal-, product-, project-, and tariff-focused economic analyses of energy system optimization in utility and wholesale trading environments to drive business development and deal closure * Develop standard energy analyses * Build an understanding of the archetypes of analyses that Energy Platform customers will need and develop techno-economic analyses of energy system optimization in a grid environment * Contribute to analytical product development * Take the tools and analytical methods developed above and work with the product management, data science, and software engineering teams to turn them into products accessible to multiple users. * Be a collaborative teammate * Work openly and collaboratively across the Commercialization, Energy Platform, and broader Shell teams * Switch seamlessly from solo crunch time in front of a Python script to group brainstorming and ideation sessions and work nimbly across topic areas and teams * Contribute your expertise, learn from others, and ask questions Auto req ID ******BR Skillpool Information Technology Country of Work Location United States Employment Type Full Time Company Description Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemical companies with about 84,000 employees across more than 70 countries.
