Job Description As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial
role in the production of electrical connectors used to provide
power for electric pumps that drill oil and gas wells. You will be
working in an industrial shop setting, primarily focused on
stripping, measuring, and cutting cables. This role involves using
hand tools and adhering to engineering blueprints and work
instructions to ensure precision and quality. Previous
Assembly/Production experience is mandatory! Responsibilities Work
in an industrial shop setting at your own workbench. Strip cables
by unwrapping the rubber exterior and cutting away insulation using
safety gloves and a knife. Measure and cut cables to specifications
using measuring devices and hand tools. Perform tasks according to
engineering blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Conduct
visual inspections of work performed to detect defects. Assist with
packaging and handling cables delivered on large wheels. Follow
work instructions to cut cables to specified lengths and break down
wheels once empty. Essential Skills Commitment to the assignment
for a minimum of 6 months, up to 12 months. Ability to read, write,
and speak English well. Basic math skills for decimal conversions.
Willingness to work 50 hours per week, including overtime. Ability
to be on your feet for 8 hours a day. Manual dexterity for wire
stripping and assembly. Team player attitude and adherence to
safety rules. Excellent attendance. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Prior experience working in a shop or doing assembly
is beneficial. Ability to handle heavy lifting. High attention to

Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of SANTA
ROSA, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is
$20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits
and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
