Job Description:
Minimum qualifications: Bachelors degree in a relevant field or
equivalent practical experience. 8 years of progressive experience
in data center operations, infrastructure management, or a relevant
technical domain. 8 years of experience in infrastructure. 5 years
of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports. 4
years of experience managing projects. Preferred qualifications: 8
years of experience in managing cross-functional/team projects. 5
years of supervisory experience. Experience with hybrid cloud
architectures and public cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform
(GCP). Understanding of data center infrastructure components
(i.e., servers, machine learning, storage, power, and cooling) and
their interdependencies, particularly in the context of new
technology integration. Excellent leadership, communication, and
people management skills with the ability to inspire teams, build
strong relationships, and negotiate effectively across all

challenges we face daily. As a Technical Program Manager at Google,
you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using
your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal
customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.
This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and
clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. Youre equally
at home explaining your teams analyses and recommendations to
executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in
product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical
and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific
programs and teams. In this role, you are part of the team that
builds and operates Google’s Data Centers, including almost
everything in them like our machines; networks; and the hardware,
firmware, software, and systems that manage it all. You will deploy
and test the systems to ensure that the hundreds of systems
involved interoperate properly and achieve the necessary
performance and availability to keep Google’s Data Centers online
for our customers, both internal customers like Cloud or Search and
external customers who are a significant portion of the
internet-connected population. The AI and Infrastructure team is

base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000
bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role,
level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined
by work location and additional factors, including job-related
skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your

Responsibilities Lead complex, multi-disciplinary technical
programs from inception through successful delivery by identifying
systemic bottlenecks and architecting innovative solutions to
revolutionize NPI efficiency, scalability, and time-to-market.
Identify and manage critical program dependencies and risks,
developing comprehensive mitigation strategies and effectively
escalating issues when necessary. Manage, mentor, and grow a team
of Technical Program Managers. Foster a collaborative, empowering,
and results-oriented team environment, setting clear expectations
and providing continuous feedback and development opportunities.
Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader, building consensus
and influencing executive leadership, Engineering VPs, and
cross-functional partners (e.g., Data Center Operations, Platform
Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Supply Chain, Product
Management, etc.).
