As an engineer on the Health & Beauty team, you will build products that are inspiring, meaningful and will change the economy we know today. You'll work with our product, design and engineering team to bring these ideas to life!You will:
  • Build and test Android software with complex server, network and hardware interactions
  • Craft intuitive UI that delights our customers with its ease of use
  • Work with a world-class team of experienced and dedicated engineers, product managers, and designers
  • Deliver features to our growing base of subscribers, shipped at a rapid cadence
  • Be a part of creating an innovative product that brings superpowers to sellers
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other Android engineersYou Have:
    • 5+ years of Android (or mobile) development experience, and an excellent command of engineering fundamentals
    • Excitement to continue to grow as app developer
    • Commitment to customer experience and product quality
    • Eagerness to share your own ideas, and openness to those of others
    • A record of self-directed side projects, research, or open source contributions are a plus!Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.Zone A: USD $163,600 - USD $245,400Zone B: USD $155,400 - USD $233,200Zone C: USD $147,300 - USD $220,900Zone D: USD $139,000 - USD $208,600To find a location's zone designation, please refer to this resource.
