Scheduling:We have two open positions available:1) Monday-Friday
night shift2) Any 5-day schedule that includes both weekend
daysThis is a full-time position with a base salary of around
$107,000 based on experience plus equity.Job Title: Sustaining

Sustaining Process Development Engineer is responsible for
monitoring the production lines and equipment to ensure that
processes operate efficiently, and tools and equipment perform
optimally to achieve high-quality deliverables that meet business
objectives.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and contain non-conforming products or practices using
root cause analysis principles, execute corrective action plans,
and dispose of affected products
- Collaborate with Process Development Engineers, Equipment
Engineers, and Production staff to ensure accurate work
instructions and procedures are in place
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train staff on
how to perform processes safely and correctly
- Develop start-up procedures and standard process monitors to
ensure the health of the production line and identify any
out-of-control tools or processes
- Perform basic hands-on troubleshooting of high-volume
manufacturing tools
- Identify key process metrics and establish statistical process
control at key manufacturing stationsMinimum Qualifications:The
individual must be able to perform each essential duty

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical
Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an R&D laboratory or
equivalent environmentDesirable Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and statistical
software (e.g. JMP, Minitab)
- Experience with CAD or Engineering Drawings
- Prior start-up experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in common workplace software (Microsoft Office)
- Independent problem solver with a desire to learn new skills
and develop new technology
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
- Able to adapt to changing requirements in a fast-paced start-up
setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong work
ethic, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to use hand and machine tools safelyPhysical Demands
