conceptual design through construction administration and
post-occupancyCoordinating with multiple disciplines and acting as
an electrical engineer and to ensure that projects are delivered
within budget and on scheduleReview and approve shop drawings and
attend client meetings during the construction administration
phaseWriting reports for internal and external purposes based on
findingsWorks cooperatively with the Managing Principal or MEP
Practice Leader in evaluating staffing needsWorks cooperatively
with managers and other employees to achieve the company's

current on codes and technologies appropriate to the electrical and

techniques of electrical engineeringOrganizes and conducts site

within a BIM design environmentDevelops, designs, and specifies
site electrical power, and equipment, components, and
materialsDevelops, designs, and specifies equipment, components,
and materials for all building electrical systemsDirects activities
to verify installed electrical systems, equipment, components, and
materials conform to the requirements of project contract
documentsCompletes assigned engineering and design tasks in
accordance with client specified criteria and applicable codes and
standardsReview junior team member's work for quality and
recognition of training requirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical
Engineering4+ years of electrical engineering experience within a
consulting or design-build firmProfessional Engineering
(Electrical) license preferredExperience with Revit and AutoCAD
based design projectsCompetent in all conventional aspects of
electrical engineering and conducts work requiring judgment in the
independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and
modification of standard electrical engineering techniques,
procedures, and criteriaExperience in the following markets:
Federal Civilian & Local Government, Federal DoD, Healthcare and
Labs, Corporate Commercial / Mixed Use, Mission Critical
FacilitiesExcellent communication skills: articulate, assertive,
and confidentCreative thinker with effective teamwork
skillsExperience with sustainable designDocumented experience with
advanced design, and aesthetically challenging design with high
profile architecture firmsAnalyze equipment energy use for
