Job Title: Senior QA Engineer
Locations: San Francisco, CA / Remote_US
Get To Know The Team:
In this role, the Senior Software Quality Engineer will design and maintain automation frameworks used in the testing of end-user functional and design requirements . This involves close collaboration in a cross-functional team of Software Developers, QA engineers and Product Managers. Responsibilities include defining and implementing the automation framework, monitoring CI/CD Pipelines, performance & test results analysis, use case validation, evaluating and reporting current quality of existing and new features, developing and maintaining test tools.
What You Will Get To Do:

  Own the entire system testing process, including but not limited to analysis, design, executing test plans and cases, and conducting defect tracking.

  Be able to cultivate deep understanding of business needs and technical roadmap and set clear quality standards in collaboration with other Engineering Managers and corresponding stakeholders.
  
  
• 
  Recommend process, testing methodology, and improve technology/QA tools.
  
  
• 
  Provide technical guidance to team members and enhance technical capabilities.
  
  
• 
  Introduce new techniques and methods to improve team productivity.
  
  
• 
  Work closely with cross-function teams in the early stage of product development lifecycle, to define test strategy, test plans and test coverage.
  
  
  What You Will Bring:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Science, or other relevant majors or equivalent experience.
    
    
  • 
    5+ years of experience in delivering high quality products and facilitating automation tests in enterprise software environment.
    
    
  • 
    Working knowledge of software development languages: JavaScript, Python, TypeScript
    
    
  • 
    Experience with API and UI testing platforms, Pytest, cypress, playwright or other different tools.
    
    
  • 
    Knowledge of the complete QA cycle and experience with different types of testing, including experience building and adding onto an automation framework
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum, or Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin languages like Cucumber, Cucumber-jvm, Cucumber-js.
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins).
    
    
  • 
    Experience in developing or influencing the development of automated framework(s) for enterprise level functional and regression testing is preferable.

    Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, test methodologies and tools and, passion for quality

      California: Salary range for the position: 108,000 USD to 134,000 USD. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
