Job Description:
Wells Fargo is seeking Principal Software Engineers to join the
Office of the CTO's Engineering Enablement organization. Principal
Engineers are expected to be experts in a related set of
technologies within our continuous integration and continuous
delivery tool stack, associated engineering and integration needs.
This team is responsible for using the next gen technology to
create an automated CI/CD pipeline that will enable teams to
develop and release their code efficiently and frequently.**In this
role, you will:**+ Be an instrumental member of a team driving
pipeline as code journey+ Build automation to empower developers to
use the CI/CD and DevX platform+ Create libraries/frameworks/APIs
to enable migration of current processes to cloud+ Lead the
strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges
requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas of the
enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale
and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and
inductive thinking+ Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or
influence applications, network, information security, database,
operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business
and technical needs across multiple groups+ Translate advanced
technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations
tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise
technological environment, the organization structure, and
strategic technological opportunities and requirements into
technical engineering solutions, both strategic and tactical+
Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on
implementing innovative and significant business solutions+
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a
competitive advantage to the organization+ Strategically engage
with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise
and serve as an expert advisor to leadership**Required
Qualifications:**+ 7+ years of Engineering experience, or
equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the
following: work experience, training, military experience,
education+ 6+ Experience Java/NodeJs/Go/Python+ 6+ Experience on
software architectures including traditional n-tier and
containerized Kubernetes micro services+ 5+ Experience on Software
API Test Automation tech stack and - REST Assured, Karate and
familiarity of concepts such as contract testing and service
virtualization+ 3+ Experience on the CI/CD next gen tools: Github
actions, GitLab, Azure pipelines,Harness CD, Spinnaker, Argo CD,
GitLab+ 2+ Experience in CI/CD Pipeline that deploys to a managed
Kubernetes public cloud environment**Desired Qualifications:**+ 5+
Experience on Agile software development methodologies (Scrum
preferred)+ 5+ Experience in Javascript/Typescript+ 3+ Experience
in React/Angular/Vue+ 3+ Experience on designing applications
hosted in the public cloud (Azure preferred)+ 2+ Experience on
Security Scan SW Engineering: SonarQube, JFrog Xray, GitHub
Advanced Security (CodeQL / Dependabot / Secrets), Trufflehog,
Prisma)+ Development experience with the Jenkins Domain Specific
Language dialect of Groovy+ Certification in Cloud
Engineering\Architecturefor a major Cloud Service Provider
(Azure\Google\AWS)+ Knowledge of solution design leveraging IaaS,
PaaS, and SaaS.+ Fluency with modern monitoring and logging systems
( example: Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, Splunk)+ Familiarity with Jira
and expressing non-functional requirements as stories.+ Excellent
communication and presentation skills.+ Working Knowledge of
Infrastructure as Code in a public cloud environment+ Development
experience with a focus on building CI/CD pipelines with workflow
