We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer who will be operationalizing and scaling the company-wide security program related to regulatory, customer, and corporate security requirements.

Requirements

What you bring to the table:

Design and operationalize strategic security programs by making them efficient, scalable, and reliable

Implement tools and automation to proactively detect security risks and threats for internal systems

Identify security risks and drive the implementation of recommended mitigations

Perform scheduled technical security exercises, security assessments, and code audits

Ensure best security practices and procedures are maintained and carried out by all engineering teams through system design input and code reviews

We are looking for someone who has:4+ years of work experience in any security engineering domain

Experience leading security projects (SIEM tools, internal security audits, DevSecOps planning, etc.)

Experience driving compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO, etc.)Experience working with internal and business stakeholders providing security feedback and recommendations

Relevant knowledge of modern web and mobile application security landscape, real-world attacks, and mitigations

Domain knowledge in SDL, threat modeling, vulnerability scanning, pen testing, etc.

In-depth knowledge of secure coding practices and a strong passion for helping other engineers to adopt them

Proficient in Python, Go, or RubyBonus: SANS or CISSP certification in areas of security strategy & roadmap development, Enterprise security, Access Management, and Risk ManagementStrong foundation in infrastructure security, applied cryptography, network, and computer security, authentication, and security protocols

Have a startup personality and mentality: smart, hardworking, productive, team player, integrity, can execute under pressure

The company is fully remote, though we would prefer this role specifically to be in a timezone where we can have more hours overlap with the North American team members due to the need for frequent communication and collaboration. #LI-Remote
