Job Description:Assistant Project Engineer/Geologist - San Luis
Obispo, CATrihydro, one of the country's top environmental and

Assistant Project Engineer or Geologist to join our Petroleum and
Petrochemical Services team in San Luis Obispo, CA. As a member of
our team, you will have the opportunity to support a diverse range
of clients, from Fortune 100 companies to local communities, by
providing effective, responsive, and safe solutions to complex
environmental challenges.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will
work in the office and in the field (up to 30% of the time)
performing and/or overseeing project work. Under the direct
supervision of Senior Project Managers, the successful candidate
will:Scope, cost, plan, schedule, execute, and report for assigned
projectsManage subcontractors, prepare purchase orders, and approve
vendor invoicesManage staff and assign resources to complete
project tasks on budget and within the scheduleDevelop work plans
and health & safety plansCoordinate with regulatory agencies,
subcontractors, and clients to execute investigation and
remediation projectsOversee and perform field investigations that
include surface reconnaissance, surface mapping, surface water
measurements, and multi-media sampling (air, water, soil)Manage and
evaluate data for regulatory compliance with local, state, and
federal standardsEvaluate remedial alternatives for soil,
groundwater, sediment, and indoor air impactsOversee and perform
remedial activities for impacted soil (excavation, in-situ
treatment, etc.), groundwater (extraction, in-situ treatment,
etc.), and vapor (indoor air mitigation system, engineering
controls, etc.)Prepare investigation summary, remedy
implementation, performance monitoring, and site closure
reportsPosition Qualifications:Our team is looking for someone who
has:Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including
attention to detail and accuracyExceptional written and oral
communication skillsInitiative to complete project deliverables on
schedule and within budgetThe ability to travel up to 25% of the
timeExperience with AutoCADWorking knowledge of health and safety
best practices and a commitment to safe operationsProficiency with
MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and conversant
with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling
packagesAble to grasp scientific concepts and apply them to
different technical challengesA Bachelor's Degree in Engineering,
Geology, or a related field (professional certification is a
plus)3-8 years of relevant project/task management experienceA

ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and
qualifications, as well as market and business
considerations.Summary pay range: $65,000 $85,000
