OverviewAn exciting opportunity with a growing landscaping company is waiting for you!Cagwin & Dorward is a full-service landscape provider specializing in landscape maintenance, landscape construction, water management, and tree care for commercial, municipal, and residential customers. From 12 local service centers, we serve the greater San Francisco Bay Area from Santa Rosa in the North, to Monterey in the south and east to Sacramento.ResponsibilitiesManage local shop operations, including maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment usual to the commercial landscape industry.Able to work alone and prioritize workload with minimal guidance.Strong mechanical aptitude and background in landscape industry vehicles and equipmentClean and orderly, able to work Saturdays.Maintain company provided equipment and machinery.Communicates effectively as necessary with manager, and other technicians to contribute to the overall performance of the location.Attends all required training, seeks additional training to maintain and increase effectiveness.Keeps up to date on industry trends and repair procedures.5+ years experience in commercial landscape equipment repair, including 2 & 4 cycle engines, walk behind & ride on mowers, light & medium duty trucks, andtrailers.Owned Tools preferred but not required.Knowledge of equipment/tool operation and diagnostic/repair procedures.Tree Care equipment experience a plus.Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors, employees, and management.Basic computer skills in email, MS Excel, Internet.Must possess a valid California driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.COMPANY PERKS!Training and on-going support and mentorship.Educational assistanceGet paid weekly!401k with matchMedical, Dental & VisionPTO, Vacation and Sick Time
