Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer,
with a strong background in developing solar and energy storage
products, to join the Schneider Electric Solar + Storage team.In
this role the successful candidate will primarily be responsible
for the design of solar and storage power converters, conducting
trade-off studies among various power conversion architectures,
leading product prototyping and test, and assist with product
industrialization.We are looking for a positive, confident,

Bangalore.Responsibilities
- Responsible for power converter hardware design, topology
trade-off studies, and prototyping.
- Conduct modeling and simulation of power converters to speed up
design cycles.
- Be on the forefront of technology including identification and
adoption of latest power semiconductor and control trends.
- Lead rapid product turn-around from concept through
prototyping.Education and Experience
- Master's degree with 7+ years' experience or Phd (preferred)
with 5+ years' experience
- Strong background in power electronics and control
- Demonstrated experience in hardware development of
solar/storage power converters
- Strong background in control FW design and
implementationKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Versatility with various modeling and simulation tools -
MATLAB, Python, PLECS, etc
- Deep knowledge on various modulation control schemes for single
phase and three phase power converter topologies including
multilevel bi-directional and LLC resonant converter
- Programming experience in Assembly/C/C++ for 32-bit
controllers/DSP's and RTOS environments like --C OS-II or other
platforms
- Basic knowledge of solar/storage codes and standards (NEC/NFPA,
UL1741SA, CA Rule 21, NEM 2.0, IEEE 1547-2018, HECO SRD 1.1, AS/NZS
4777.2:2015)
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated
collaborative teamwork capabilitiesWorking

- Availability for 10% domestic and international travel The U.S.
compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base
pay and short-term incentive, is $111,000-$166,000 for candidates
located within the U.S. Our salary ranges are determined by
reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the
salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors
including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience,
