The successful candidate will-facilitate PG&E's business vision by improving infrastructure and platforms that all PG&E employees use to design, collaborate and build great customer experiences; accelerate the transformation of cloud services to public and private cloud-based platforms and services; provide cloud leadership for those involved in the design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, support, and operations of PG&E's systems infrastructure.-A critical part of how we operate is to apply design thinking, innovate, and work collaboratively using agile development practices. Through these principles, we work as product teams to help deliver valuable cloud products to our business partners.-Responsibilities:

Designs, builds and implements moderately complex cloud offeringsManages moderately complex continuous build, test integration and deployment of platforms and pipelinesDeploys low to moderate complexity infrastructure (inter-linking systems)Configures, manages and troubleshoots low to moderate complexity systems of scale (Cloud, virtualization, distributed networks, colocation, etc.)Maintains and updates critical tools and infrastructure with strong focus on Cloud-based services and technologyResponds to and troubleshoots moderately complex operations issuesLeads project teams and medium to larger scale efforts-Qualification:Minimum:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience3 years of experience in cloud technologies or equivalent IT programming experience-Desired:
Master's degree in business administration/engineering or equivalent experienceExpertise on multitier application architecture, design and development using Java/J2E, .NET, Python, React/Angular, iOS or other Enterprise technologiesExperience working in Agile/ScrumExperience with continuous integration and deployment technologies (Github, Jenkins, Artifactory, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy)Experience with test-driven development frameworks for application and infrastructure codeExperience in building large distributed systemsExperience in Infrastructure as automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CLIExperience and in the following areas: Sys admin in OS platforms (Linux/Unix, Windows); firm grasp of networking fundamentals such as DNS, HTTP, TCP/IPExperience in supporting highly available applicationsExperience with tooling to support monitoring, telemetry, logging, and reporting/ dashboarding technologies--License/Certification Desired:
AWS Associate Certification, or equivalent Cloud platform certification--Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
Advanced knowledge of Cloud computing technologies; expert knowledge in certain cloud knowledge domainsCompetency in planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goalsKnowledge of Agile software development principles, values, concepts, methods, best practices, and techniques as needed to perform at the job levelAbility to innovate and adopt new approaches, technologies and solutions working with various subject matter experts and leadersAbility to communicate, present and influence effectively with officers and with leaders inside and outside of the department and line of business--
