Job Description:

Senior NOC Service Engineer Job Duties: - Responsible for network design and planning, capacity management, vendor evaluation, activation and deactivation of customer services, troubleshooting and fault resolution of reported and detected faults, performing effective maintenance to the equipment to prevent faults from occurring, procurement and installation of equipment for expansion and new services; - Support enterprise wide and local area network components, including network security components and vendor communications; - Implement, troubleshoot, analyze and maintain networks across the enterprise; - Automate and develop new age monitoring tools and frameworks; - Test new products in manual and automation environment; - Report, analyze, troubleshoot and implement fixes in test and production environment; - Troubleshoot network problems and outages, and provide Level 3 Network Triage support - Perform and provide regular audits on network devices and network tools; and - Perform Network Service Delivery functions, namely: fulfillment for quote to cash transactional tickets for all network and datacenter products (Interconnections, DCIM). Minimum Requirements : - A Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation. - In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Engineer, or a related occupation. Special Requirements: Must have at least two (2) years of knowledge and experience with the following: - Python; - OSPF (Open Shortest Path First); - BGP (Border Gateway Protocol); and - VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network).
