visit grail.com Grail is seeking an outstanding Materials Handler
III to manage the daily operations including, but not limited to:
receipt, stocking, and shipment of laboratory supplies and business
materials. This position will work directly with the Purchasing,
Lab, and Finance departments to store, track and reconcile all
incoming and outgoing materials. Reporting to the site warehouse
manager, this person will be responsible for executing and
supporting warehouse projects, metrics, and process improvements.
This is an onsite role based in either Menlo Park, CA (moving to
Sunnyvale, CA in Fall 2026) with 5-days a week at our location.
Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert on warehouse
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing guidance and
training to team members to ensure compliant and efficient
operations. Author, revise, and maintain SOPs and work instructions
to support continuous process improvement and operational
scalability. Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS)
standards; support audits, deviations, NCRs, CAPAs, and change
control activities. Accurately receive, inspect, stock, issue, and
reconcile materials using the ERP system (NetSuite), ensuring
real-time inventory integrity. Manage inbound shipments, including
consumables, hazardous materials, and temperature-sensitive items,
in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Apply
unique lot traceability labeling and manage inventory disposition
in alignment with QC processes. Execute weekly cycle counts,
investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and
implement corrective actions to maintain high inventory accuracy.
Replenish Kanban and point-of-use inventory locations within
laboratory environments to prevent operational disruption.
Coordinate outbound shipments via FedEx and package hazardous
materials in compliance with DOT regulations. Lead
warehouse-related projects, track operational metrics, and drive
process improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service
levels. Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Laboratory
Operations, Finance, and site leadership to ensure seamless
material flow and business continuity. These responsibilities

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / Associates Degree or
equivalency. Proficiency with prioritizing daily duties and
projects to meet deadlines. Exercise judgment within defined
company policies and procedures to determine appropriate actions.
Ability to travel 5% as required. Regulated environment work
experience, ideally in GLP or GMP Preferred Qualifications: 2 years
of experience, ideally in Biotech/Healthcare Physical Demands &
Working Environment: Hours and days may vary depending on
operational needs. Working with dry ice may be necessary. Standing
or sitting for long periods of time may be necessary. May be
exposed to hazardous materials, blood specimens and instruments
with moving parts, heating or freezing elements, and high speed
centrifugation. Some lifting (up to 50 pounds) may be necessary.
The expected hourly rate for this position is expected to be
$28.36/hr-$34/hr. This role may be eligible for other forms of
compensation, including an annual bonus and/or incentives, subject
to the terms of the applicable plans and Company discretion. This
range reflects a good-faith estimate of the range that the Company
reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire; the actual
compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the
candidate’s qualifications. Employees in this role are also
