Job Description:
STANFORD UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE The Department of
Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University School of Medicine
seeks outstanding applicants for a full-time Generalist position in
the Clinician Educator Academic Line, who are board certified/board
eligible. We seek candidates who are hardworking, enthusiastic
about clinical teaching and patient care, and interested in
contributing to the academic missions of the department. The
successful applicant will be one committed to a career practicing
full scope general obstetrics and gynecology. Clinical duties will
include both obstetrics and gynecology inpatient and outpatient,
coverage of teaching services, clinical outreach and participation
in group obstetric and gynecologic call. Engagement in scholarship
in quality improvement, education and/or clinical research will be
encouraged. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford
continues to expand our clinical activities at new outreach sites
across the San Francisco Bay Area and is a growing department

these values. The expected base pay range for this open rank
position is either: Clinical Assistant Professor: $276,000 –
$300,000 Clinical Associate Professor: $327,000 – $345,000 Clinical
Professor: $369,000 - $390,000 This pay range reflects base pay,
which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. It does not
include all components of the School of Medicine’s faculty
compensation program or pay from participation in departmental
incentive compensation programs. For more information about

University has provided a pay range representing its good faith
estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the
position upon hire. The pay offered to the selected candidate will
be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the

internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
