Job Description:
RCM Healthcare seeks a dedicated School Physical Therapist to
join our grassroots efforts in providing high quality, personalized
healthcare services within educational settings. As a part of our
expert team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the physical
health and overall well-being of students. This position requires a
compassionate individual who is adept at designing and implementing
physical therapy programs that cater to the unique needs of
children and adolescents. Your expertise will help in fostering a
supportive environment conducive to the physical and academic
growth of the students. Evaluate students' gross motor skills and
physical capabilities through comprehensive assessments. Design and
implement individualized physical therapy programs based on student
needs and IEPs (Individualized Education Programs). Collaborate
with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate
physical therapy with educational goals. Maintain detailed records
of students' progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly. Provide
training and guidance to school staff regarding physical supports
and adaptations. Promote awareness and education on physical health
and wellness in school settings. Strong understanding of pediatric
physical therapy techniques and modalities. Ability to design and
execute detailed therapeutic programs. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Skilled in documentation and record keeping.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary educational
team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Valid state license in Physical Therapy. CPR and First Aid
certification preferred. Membership in the American Physical
Therapy Association (APTA) is a plus.
