Location: Starting Pay: $21.00 – $25.00/hour Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire Schedule: Open availability required, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities: We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Chassis Repair / Maintenance Technicians with experience in container repair to join our team. This role involves hands-on maintenance and repair of trailers, chassis, and containers, ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: - Perform repairs and maintenance on chassis, trailers, and containers - Diagnose and replace or repair lights, tires, landing legs, brakes, and framework - Conduct minor welding and fabrication as needed - Inspect equipment to identify issues and ensure roadworthiness - Maintain accurate records of all work performed - Follow safety procedures and comply with industry standards - Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: - Experience in chassis/trailer/container repair and maintenance - Basic welding skills preferred not required - Knowledge of brake systems, lights, tires, and framework - Strong mechanical aptitude - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions - Valid driver’s license - Willingness to work in varying weather conditions - Must have basic set of hand tools - Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening - - - The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited.
