Job Description


Vlocity is hiring a communications leader to join the corporate marketing team in San Francisco. The role will be responsible for building out the Company's global customer communications program. From the perspective of a senior communications leader lens, Vlocity offers a compelling platform and opportunity, including:

  • A strong product roadmap, integrated efforts with Salesforce and 100+ referenceable customers to help drive a steady cadence of news.

    This newly created position will be charged with implementing strategies and tactics designed to achieve customer appreciation, celebration and awareness in the market, and support the company's ongoing business objectives.

    Vlocity has a rich story to tell across all the communications avenues available today. It's incredibly important that the communications elements—public relations, media influencers and relations, thought leadership content and social media—all work together in a modern, integrated way, reinforcing key messages across multiple channels.

    The ideal candidate will make Vlocity's customer wins and customer success, as well as it presence, innovation and traction in the market known to the audiences that matter to us, to Salesforce and to our customers, and contribute to influencing their behavior. This person is not only adept with strong critical thinking skills, multi-tasking capabilities and a proven ability to remain calm under pressure, but also graceful and confident while working with senior executives and stakeholders.

    Responsibilities (What You'll be Doing)

    Vlocity is seeking a talented and passionate customer and ecosystem marketer to drive messaging, programs and awareness for our Global Customer Innovators Program. In this role, you'll create the messaging on the value of being a Vlocity Customer and "Industry Cloud Hero.". You'll work with senior leadership globally to craft our Customer Marketing messaging, content creation, and campaign execution — all aligned to our overall Industries strategies and corporate branding and marketing.


    • Collaborate with the Marketing, Industry teams and Customer Success organizations to create messaging and positioning that inspires
    • Create effective materials that make it easy for Customers to understand our Customer Appreciation Program, Industry Cloud capabilities, and what makes Vlocity unique
    • Work with senior executives regionally to develop & execute customer campaigns to build awareness for and celebrate new wins, "go-lives," customer initiatives and customer success results.
    • Develop the go-to-market strategy on how and where we deliver the unique value proposition of our Customer Appreciation Program
    • Track, measure and report against objectives
    • Lead and motivate a team of talented partner marketers

      Required Skills/experience (What You've Accomplished)


      • 10+ years experience in marketing with a strong B2B technology product marketing background, and an emphasis in campaigns and/or partner marketing is desired
      • Highly motivated team player with high energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the business
      • Strategic and analytical thinker, while also having strong creative skills
      • Experience creating and building relationships and engaging partners and sales teams – experience working with Executives, Salesforce, Consulting Partners, and ISVs is desired
      • Strong executive presence with proven ability to present in formal and informal settings
      • Robust written and verbal communications, high credibility presence
      • Proven ability to manage up, down, and across effectively
      • Metrics-driven marketing mind and familiarity with marketing analytics platforms
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic working environment and build excellent rapport with internal teams
      • Degree in Marketing or related field required - MBA desired
      • Experience using Salesforce is a huge plus
