Job Description:
Alto is a destination for innovative, intellectually curious,

business model! In order to achieve this, Alto hires W-2 employee
drivers, maintains a branded fleet of vehicles, and is
transitioning to an all-electric fleet in 2023. The company is
rapidly growing, having raised a $45M Series-B in 2021 and is
accelerating towards a nationwide expansion; today Alto operates in
Los Angeles, Dallas, Washington D.C., Miami, San Francisco, and
Houston. Alto is seeking a passionate, self-starting Marketing
Manager to help lead and execute the company''s expansion into San
Francisco. This is a critical hire who will be the go-to expert for
all things SF within the Alto marketing team while developing and
executing against multichannel strategies to drive awareness,
trial, and retention among Silicon Valley residents seeking a
better rideshare experience. Included in this scope is the planning
and execution of local marketing efforts, including partnerships,
local events activations, and field marketing. They will be tasked
with building a strong presence for Alto among the events,
institutions, and organizations that have strong affiliations with
Alto''s target customers, working closely with the Alto corporate
office to optimize messaging and activations to the SF market and
the specific events/partnerships associated with each activation .
They will be a full partner in the development of Local Marketing
Plans from a strategic perspective and will be accountable for
market-level customer acquisition and trip goals. They will be
required to generate creative ideas to achieve and execute the
goals defined in these plans. Job Responsibilities: Plan and
execute all local partnerships and events to achieve specific
market-level growth targets Work closely with the corporate team to
develop local marketing strategy with the objectives of driving
awareness, trial, and retention among core consumer targets. Create
and manage key partnerships with local businesses and organizations
(charitable, social, and educational) in alignment with Alto''s
goals and objectives. Guide day-to-day development and execution of
marketing activities and events in the SF market based on approved
plans and direction from their Manager. Produce a local marketing
calendar that includes local activations & partnerships.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop metrics to measure
the success of all initiatives to increase effectiveness and drive
scale of the programs. Strategize, order and deliver promotional
items to support partnerships & events. Manage local marketing
budget including, but not limited to local partnerships,
sponsorships, brand ambassador labor, donations. Act as the ''eyes
and ears'' of Alto in the SF market, maintaining awareness of and
communicating updates related to local market context; competitive
activity; and other updates with potential or actualized impacts to
Alto''s business. Qualifications: BA/BS required. Advertising,
Marketing, Communications, Business or related degree preferred.
2-3 years of marketing experience preferred. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong creative instincts. Organized and able to work on multiple
projects/tasks simultaneously. Detail oriented, strong problem
solving skills and a team player. Basic Excel and budget management
capabilities Deep familiarity with the SF market Valid Drivers
