Job Description:
Job DescriptionDESCRIPTION: This position will be responsible
for growth of the Walnut Creek and San Francisco TruFusion studios.
The Sales & Marketing Manager will build community amongst the
staff and members through exceptional in-studio campaigns as well
as drive new revenue and memberships with outreach and external
events. This is a full-time exempt position reporting directly to
the Studio Owner.
FINANCIAL TARGETS
- Responsible for hitting annual targets in lead generation,
first visits, conversion rates, membership count and revenue
growthSALES
- Establish monthly promotions to drive new business and ensure
front desk is properly trained on all sales offerings
- Liaise with Operations Manager to provide ongoing sales
training to front desk staff including overseeing 2 desk shifts per
week
- Establish and grow corporate and community partnerships
COMMUNICATIONS
- Create and distribute monthly newsletter to build community,
drive sales, and increase attendance in workshops and events
- Optimize CRM system to ensure effective sales tactics. Outreach
is timely, offers are accurate and on-brand
- Liaise with advertising vendor to optimize ad conversions.
Advise on alternate advertising platforms within budget. SOCIAL
MEDIA
- Manage and grow social media outlets for both studios
- Liaise with photographer/videographer to ensure content is
fresh and relevant to current studio offerings/operations
- Ensure outreach is being done via approved scripts EVENT
PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT
- Plan and execute one in-studio event/campaign per month
- Plan and execute one external event per month to drive new
leads and increase brand exposure
- Liaise with franchisor marketing team on national campaigns and
marketing effortsWORK ENVIRONMENT
- Flexible work environment
- Spend 10-15 hours per week in-studio and take class as much as
possibleRequirementsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B2C Sales and Marketing experience
- Experience in and knowledge of the fitness industry
- Proven leadership and management ability
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and personable. Passionate and highly
knowledgeable PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in MindBody Online, iKizmet, and/or Loyalsnap
CRM
- Track record of success in boutique fitness salesPHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS
- The physical demands described here are representative of those
that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the
essential functions of the job. Employee must be able to work hours
that exceed 40 hours per week including nights and weekends.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- Ability to work in studio, review and create paperwork,
communicate with employees, members, and the public
