Senior Manager, US HCP Marketing - Start Up! I am partnered with a fellow recruiter on a search for a clinical stage biopharma moving to the Boston area. They are focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of first-in-class pharmaceutical therapies to treat ocular surface diseases. This company is leveraging neuroscience to develop and commercialize novel therapies to treat diseases with high unmet needs. Their initial focus is to develop innovative therapeutics to treat the signs and symptoms of ophthalmic conditions. Their team knows eye care - they have assembled a team with extensive experience developing and commercializing leading ophthalmic products and therapies. This organization is team oriented, collaborative and supportive.-- We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, US HCP Marketing to join this exciting start up as they prepare to launch their first product. YOU:

  • 5+ years US focused HCP marketing experience
  • Ophthalmology experience is a strong plus
  • Launch experience
  • Digital marketing experience is a plug
  • Prior pharma sales experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship
  • This role will be office-based (post-COVID) and will NOT be remote or commuter The Senior Manager, Professional Marketing, will be based in the Boston area and will lead our integrated marketing campaign efforts to the Eye Care Professional (ECP) customer audience. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Professional Marketing, the candidate will play a significant role in the development and execution of the pre-launch and launch plans targeted at digital, media and trade show activities, utilizing deep marketing knowledge and former successful eye care marketing experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Serve as lead on developing and managing the Integrated marketing campaign / media mix for the company's 1st commercial product
    • Manage multi-channel marketing efforts focused on ECPs: Website, CRM, Media Plan, PR/Social, Tradeshows and events
    • Work closely with key external marketing partners (Events, Trade media, Marketing Agency)
    • Manage congress content and development including sponsorship, messaging, booth design and coordinating onsite materials and field training for virtual and in-person meetings
    • Primary contact for Media/Pubs/digital vendors
    • Work with team members and partners to prepare plans and execute within timelines and budgets
    • Responsible for developing strong relationships to collaborate with internal stakeholders, agency partners and external vendors to create innovative launch tactics
    • For all initiatives, whenever possible, establish ways to measure impact, report results, and adjust plans accordingly
    • The individual will work cross-functionally with Marketing Operations, Sales, Market Access, Marketing Research, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance and will collaborate with other members of the organization as required REQUIREMENTS:
      • Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred
      • 5+ years' experience in US focused pharmaceutical marketing with eye care experience preferred (must have HCP marketing)
      • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic pre-launch and launch plans for prescription pharmaceutical brands with the health care professional audience
      • Experience with sales and marketing in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical space, marketing in the Dry Eye Disease category a plus
      • Experience with effective strategies for non-personal promotion such as PR, Social Media, Digital channels, Point-of-Care Channels, etc. is a plus
      • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines, compliance, and promotional policies
      • Ability to influence across the organization and work across multiple stakeholders
      • Strong analytical skills, creative and critical thinking skills
      • Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
